Summary: A relaxing yet page turner once again
Review: I have read as many books of Lori Wick's as I could find and so far have enjoyed them all! In this book I think that so many people look at the words, which may include some sexism, and not at the real meaning behind the book. I have found that in every one of Mrs. Wick's books there is a meaning beyond the word and usually contains the message of what God expects from a loving relationship. It's not my absolute favorite, but it is deffinitly high on my list!

Review: I have read everyone of Lori Wick's books and this one is just as exciting and a page turner as always. Mrs. Wick has a way of making the characters so real you feel you know them. Can't wait to read the second book in this series.

Review: I have read many Lori Wick novels, and each one is a treasure in its own. This one, I found, was hard to put down. Liberty was an interesting character, willing to put her life on the line by being the town's only deputy for her brother, the town's sheriff. Slater, an ex-Texas Ranger, came to love Liberty and wanted only her safety. When they clashed in differences and Liberty disobeyed Slater, the unexpected happend, and she got hurt. Liberty needed to be shown who she was, who she didn't realize she was. What happened at that fight showed her who she was, and made her change, and I think it was wonderful when Slater decided to give it another try. Actually, I think he didn't decide, he was left with no choice. His heart wouldn't let him walk away. The book was wonderful, and I am really looking forward to reading the sequel.

Review: I just started reading Christian books, and I have become addicted to Lori Wick. I read this book in 2 days and want the rest of the trilogy to read now. These books not only entertain but help you with your Christian walk.

Review: I just wanted to write to address what the other reviewers wrote about concerning the sexism in this book. For one thing, men ARE supposed to be the head of the home and the head of the woman. The Bible says so. If you don't believe me, look it up in your Bible. The man in this book is not overbearing or unrespectful to the woman, he simply cares for her and for her safety. And, like a lot of people, he struggles with pride. But I think deep down it was not pride, it was just that he felt it was his place, not hers. And I agree. And, no, I'm not a man writing this--I am a 20-year-old girl. Surprised? Don't be. We need to bring back the standards that are not tossed by the wayside. To any of you that agree with me, just wanted you to know that it's ok to be old-fashioned in your standards. I suppose some people say the Bible is outdated too, does justify anything? NO

Summary: PAINFUL & BORING ORDEAL TO GET THROUGH
Review: I LOVE CHRISTIAN BOOKS. LORI WICK SHOWED GOOD CHRITIAN ETHICS IN WRITING THIS BOOK. HOWEVER, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT WAS VERY POOR & PLOT WAS ALMOST NON-EXISTANT. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BOOK. I KNOW SHE HAS WRITTEN OTHERS & WAS EAGER TO START MORE, BUT WILL NOW DUE TO THIS BOOK. I THINK WE CAN STILL GLEAN CHRISTIAN VALUES FROM IT HOWEVER.

Summary: wonderful book
Review: i loved this book. I could not put it down. I liked the way they had their relationship. I am fifteen, and when I have a relationship when I am older, I would want it to start like theirs. I wish courtship was not outdated right now. When I read this book I was blessed so much by it. I read many christian love stories this one is one of my favorite. It is such a pure relationship. I would recomend this to anyone.
