Summary: Lori Wick definetely fails to please with this one
Review: Although I love Lori Wick's earlier works, her latest english series was disapointment after dissapointment with each new book. The beginning starts off with some hope to redeem the series, but by the middle it becomes all to predictable and juet like her other works. If you want a good Lori Wick read Pretense or Princess; however, she obviously proves with this one that she is past her prime and out of clever ideas.

Review: Another wonderful book by Lori Wick. I could not put it down. A lot of humor is always good. loved it.

Summary: Not bad but not great either
Review: I am a huge Lori Wick fan and have read all but a couple of her books, and I have to say I was so disappointed with "The Pursuit". It was rather dry and boring through most of the book. As I read I kept thinking that someone else must've wrote it and just put Lori's name on the cover because it was so out of character for her. Her books have always been page turners to me, but I had to muddle through this one. My biggest disappointment was the lack of romance. That's why I read her books is because of romance! I can't help it...I'm a hopeless romantic. But...all was not lost in this book. There were a couple of pretty decent parts. I can't reveal my favorite parts because it will give away too much.

Summary: Not Her Best Work
Review: I have read every book that Lori Wick has written and I must say I know that she can do so much better then this. I was more intrested in characters from the previous books then I was in Edward and Niki. I found the story line vary perdictable. the only time I was the least bet surprised was what Edward discoved about Osborne. I'm a huge Lori Wick and fan and will continue to buy and read all her book but I would like to see some books of the same quality as the Kensington Chronicles and the Californians.

Summary: The Pursuit Review
Review: I read this book because of the author. Lori Wick is my favorite author. She demonstrates God's forgiving and compassionate love in all her novels. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to discover how you can find God's peace in the midst of trails and chaos. This novel is a picture of exactly that. I especially liked the fact that she always leads the reader to dive deep into God's word and search for his truth.

Summary: Uplifting and Inspiring
Review: I thought this book was wonderful! Although I am not a new fan of Inspirational Fiction I am a new fan of Lori Wick. I think this entire series was great! I loved this last book, the suspense in the first part of the book is great and as you read you know that it's only getting better! I loved the way that it ended! I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't yet read it, but believe me it's great! The only thing that I didn't like was that it never gave any information on Thomas and Lizzy Morland at the end, it gives an update on everyone else, but it doesn't tell whether or not they were ever able to have children! That is my only complaint... Actually I am very sad that this was the last book in this series, I think it would have been wonderful to continue it! I LOVE books written in early England and this is one of the best series' ever!
Thanks Lori, I am now a fan of yours for life!
