Rating: Summary: This book was great! Review: I thought it was a great book. I read it twice. Not only was it a love story but it showed us if you are willing to hang in there God will work it out in the end. Things may not go the way you expect them too. But there is a reason for all things. If you want to read a book that have something to say, this is your book...
Rating: Summary: The Princess Review: This was the first novel I have ever read by Lori Wick. I usually read books by the same Publishing House and I wanted to try something different. I found it to be a disapointment. The story was easy reading but the storyline was predictable. Nothing exciting about it.
Rating: Summary: A charming and easy to follow book! Review: I loved this novel. The characters, setting, plot all seemed so real and made you want to be apart of it all. I'm only 15, and this has given me a life lesson in love - I think anyone should read this. It has faith, romance, suspense, and fun.
Rating: Summary: excellent once again Review: This novel is by far one of Lori Wick's best. I have never been to fond of her novels but this one is the best yet. I has all the elements to make a super romance. From meeting to falling in love, this book also shows the spiritual aspects of a relationship and how God is a major part in it and how he answers prayers.
Rating: Summary: Not as good as some... Review: From the first Lori Wick book I read, I was hooked. I have bought all of her recent books, but I wish I had waited to borrow THE PRINCESS. It was a good read, pleasant and easy, but it didn't give me the chills like her California Series or Kensington Chronicles. It didn't seem as though she spent as much time in developing the plot and characters as she has in the past.
Rating: Summary: This was an extremely satisfying book. Review: Being 13, I often wonder about what my life will be like in the future. One day I hope, as most 13 year olds do, that I will fall in love. This book was satisfying to me, not only because of the romance but also because of the way God was the center of both of the main characters thoughts, including thoughts about one another. Shelby is a wonderful role model, and is the type of person I aspire to become. I was very impressed with the way the author made the book move along, never was I bored, or waiting for another encounter. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent reading this book, and just ordered another one.
Rating: Summary: very good Review: this book is great because it is a page turner and it is very inspiring
Rating: Summary: She's done it again!! Review: I have read 4 or 5 of Lori Wick's books (only because the library doesn't have more) and each time I get drawn in to the story until it's like I am really there. When I read The Princess it was no different. I read it three times in two weeks and each time it was like I was really there. Lori Wick's books make me sure that I can trust God to find the right man for me someday and I love that! Another of my reasons for reading her books is that she always puts an unexpected twist into her stories. Like how you expect Princess Shelby to... Never mind, you'll just have to read this book yourself!
Rating: Summary: Wonderful story of trusting God in His leading of one's life Review: This story shows no matter how impossible things seem, if we trust the Lord's leading, and do His will (without regard to our own WANTS) it works out in His divine way. I find this in all Lori Wick books. If she writes it, I read it. I was turned on to her after I had read all of Jeanette Oke's books available to me. Lori Wick applies Christian life to EVERY situation in our lives. I like that. There is so much day to day applications we can make in our lives. She shares them in her books.
Rating: Summary: Incredible book!!! Review: This is one incredible book!! It not only makes you think but it also makes you feel special. After you have read this book for the first time the characters feel like family. They seem real to you because they don't experience fake feelings. The things they go through, throughout the book are real life. If it hasn't happened to you then it has happened to someone you know. Even though it so closely models real life it still has a quallity about it that leaves you at the edge of your seat! The book may be fiction but the feel is real!! The people never seem to give up! Thats what makes is so special. They believe in their faith and make a very real effort to live it!! It inspires!!!
