Summary: An wonderfully charming, up-to-date fairytale...
Review: I'm a huge fan of Lori Wick and have read most all her books but there was something different about this one. As always, Lori managed to balance both humor and sincerity as well as keep you on your toes, yet relax you at the same time with this one. The characters were delightful and, as stated before, though the plot may have been done before, when reading it, The Princess feels fresh and new. A must have, from one of Lori's younger readers and, again, a huge fan.

Summary: A lovely fairy tale
Review: Unlike many of the other reviewers, I am not a huge Lori Wick fan. I have read her other novels and with a few exceptions, I never really got into them. This one is different. Maybe it is the idea of a prince falling in love with an average citizen. Honestly, what little girl doesn't dream about that? Or maybe it is the fact that you can't help falling in love with the characters. The plot is pretty standard, but the story doesn't feel standard. It feels fresh, funny, and sweet. If you want to take a vacation from your everyday life, open this book and travel to Pendaren, the fictional kingdom where the novel takes place. You'll enjoy your visit.

Summary: Good but...
Review: Okay, now don't get me wrong, I LOVE Lori Wick, but in this book... there's a line between enough romance (for me) and going where only married have gone before and she definatly flirted with it. No, I take that back. She crossed it! I could do without some things here but other than that, I enjoyed this book emensly! The sweetness of Nick was distracting! And when Shelby calls him "Nick" for the first time I couldn't help but read the sentence over and over again! So, I really do reccomend it!

Summary: Excellent
Review: This is one of the best books I have ever read. Lori Wick's characters are so real! The plot is rather unique and the resolution through Biblical principles is convicting to the readers. The book's regal nature and plot turns keep the reader totally rivited. I am reading it for the seventh time!

Summary: A Wonderful Story
Review: I just reread this book (probably for the fourth time) over the weekend, and it still made me laugh, cry, and everything else I did the first time I read it. I really think I could read this book once a month and not get tired of it. Lori Wick is an excellent writer, and her talent really shines in this book. It's definitely one of my favorites by her.

Summary: Great read
Review: I first read this book over a year ago, when I checked it out at the public library. When I finished it, I had my mother read it, and a couple months ago, I bought it myself. I read it on a Thursday, and read it again that Saturday. Lori Wick did such an outstanding job bring the characters and their personalities to life. Reading this book, my emotions went in so many different directions because so much happens to these 2 people you begin to care for so much. You want their 'marriage of convenience' to work out, and it really is enjoyable to watch what happens between them. I strongly reccomend this book to anyone and everyone.

Summary: Awesome Author
Review: Lori Wick is an awesome author. I have eleven of her books, and I love every one. She has an amazing way of getting the readers attention and holding it through out the entire book. The way she describes the characters makes it easier to picture them as real people. I would recommend any of her books to everyone! She's awesome. :)

Summary: Got me Smilin'
Review: This was the first of Lori Wick's 23+ books that I have read, and I can't say how much it has blessed my heart. I read it last night for the 5th time, and I learn something new about relationships, getting on with my past, loving people with all that I have, and just how to be the wife that I hope to one day be. I am a senior in college and at least once a semester I am drawn to this book again because it takes me to a land that I can only hope to be in, and just because of the simple way it is written. I have now gotten about 6 of my friends started on these books because of the Princess. Even my mom read it and liked it - it is a book for all ages, but especially for girls who need a good excuse to read a beautiful love story. It Got me Smilin, and will do so for you too if you give it a chance. Enjoy the innocence of the book itself and may it bring you closer to God.
