Summary: Very Pleasant Reading
Review: I really enjoyed this book. I have quite a Lori Wick library now. The Princess was one of my favourite books. I loved reading about the struggles that Shelby had to go through to make her marriage work. However, sometimes I didn't like Shelby and I hoped her relationship with the prince wouldn't work, and other times I was glad when they were together. But for the most part, it was a joy to read, and i had fun imagining myself in Shelby's position. What I would do, and how I would react. My other favourite Lori Wick book was "Pretense".

Summary: I can't not believe she wrote that! (not Wick but a review)
Review: My review is in reference to the lady that said this was not a book for christan teens. I am one myself and this is what I have to say. I do realize that this book deals a lot with the couples intamacy, but I believe that this book teaches us more about HOW we SHOULD ACT when situations that are not normal are put before us. I think the expression reading between the lines is the best way I could put it. The Princess was the first book that I have read by Lori Wick. Since then, my friends and I have constantly been searching for as many books of hers as we can. I believe that Lori Wick is an exceptional author and her books are very good for the soul.(Of any age)

Summary: Marvelous
Review: A close friend of mine from church went on and on about this amazing book, so I borrowed it from her. I read the book in two days! I could not put it down. It is so beautifully written and is encouraging to your soul. I'm into Christian romance novels so this book was right up my alley! The newly wed couple learns to love each other despite their differences and the entire relationship is centered around God as well as the entire novel. I'll probably end up reading this book again. I encourage any girl who is looking for a good read to pick up the book and enter the world of Shelby and Nickoli Markham!

Summary: Ms. Wick = Ms. Wick-ed??
Review: The purpose of my review is let others know whether or not I was satisfied with shelling out the purchase price of a book for the entertainment that the book provided. In this case, no.

After I read "The Princess," I tossed it into the garbage can at a fast food store. I was mortifyed to read all about a couple's intimacy problems all the way through to the end. That was what the entire book was about!

I especially would not recommend this book for Christian teen girls. I was mortifyed at the numerous and never-ending references to this couple's intimacy problems. The entire book dealt with the marriage act. And what woman wants to read about another woman's menstrual problems?

Christian people don't read about what people do in bed or, want to do in bed, as the case was in this story. I don't know what Ms. Wick was thinking--well, yes, I do, and for shame! If this book had been made into a film script, I could not watch it. I read about the princess taking a bubble bath and her husband comes into the bathroom when she is in tub. Even though she ducks under the bubbles, is that OK? No. There was inuendo coming out the ears. I was very alarmed to think that this book is marketed to a Christian market. I've read Harlequin romances that were more wholesome and clean (example, try the stories by the late Betty Neels).

Over and over again, the princess blushed. Well, I can safely say that I blushed more than she did. My face flamed through this entire book--I'll probably have a bad case of acne tomorrow from the heat in my face. "The Princess" had slight potential. I wish I had been Ms. Wick's. I'd like to be a Beta reader for her next one. Better luck next time.

Summary: Relax and Enjoy!
Review: Relax and Enjoy!

We all deserve an escape from reality once in a while. It's a Christian Cinderella... although the message is more than the fairy tale. This story of love encourages faithfulness and patience. This beautiful story is geared for the Christian seeking a deeper relationship with God. In reading one finds the heart of a true "princess" in a world that gives credence to worldly, self-centered royalty. A must read.

Summary: Funny, intellegent, unexpected love story
Review: The princess, by Lori Wick, is absolutely my favorite of Wick's love stories. It is a great mix of funny, unexpected circumstances. The characters have depth and souls. The Princess reminds us of the simple pleasures of life in marriage and God's undying and magnificent grace and love. Lori Wick has done it again! I highly recommend this book. I could not put it down as soon as I read the intro.

Summary: Very charming
Review: This is a modern day fairy tale of a prince and a princess, king and queen, arranged marriage. Prince Nikolai is greving over the death of his first wife Yvette. But before his greiving is over he must remarry in order to keep the crown in the family. Young free spirited Shelby is the choosen bride for the heart-sick-prince. Marring a man she has never met, she must help him overcome his loss and learn to love her. Relying on their stong faith their two worlds meet. Lovely book.

Summary: The Best Book Ever
Review: I have been reading christian romance since I was in 5th grade, I am now a Junior in college. And in all of my reading I have never found a book I enjoyed more. I lost one copy and had to quickly replace it. This is one of those books I love to read over and over again.
