Rating: Summary: This is a must read. My Pastor recommended the book!! Review: After reading this book, I feel as if I know Pastor Stanley. I enjoy his style of writing in addition to the design of the book. For example, if you are firustrated, you refer to the chapter on frustration. I placed this book on my nightstand, next to the Bible. I read this book weekly. In fact, I have purchased several books as gifts.

Rating: Summary: ENJOYABLE AND EASY TO FOLLOW Review: Charles Stanley's "The Source of My Strength" is simply wonderful. It was easy to follow and understand, and his examples were great. I especially liked the way he conveyed his feelings for Christ by creating imagery in the minds of the readers/listeners (I got the audio book, unabridged). Mr. Stanley offers biblical principles that will help you discover your liberty in Christ so you can live fully and freely every day. Get this! You won't be sorry!

Rating: Summary: GOD USED THIS BOOK IN MY LIFE TO SAVE MY MARRIAGE. Review: GOD PLACED THIS BOOK IN A BOOKSTORE WINDOW DISPLAY AND DREW ME TO IT. GOD HAD CHOSEN THIS BOOK FOR ME AS A MEANS TO PREPARE MY HEART FOR WHAT HE KNEW I WAS TO FACE. DR. STANLEY'S MESSAGE OF "SITTING DOWN OUR EMOTIONAL BAGGAGE" WAS SOLACE TO MY HEART.
Rating: Summary: Dr. Stanley Is Truly In Touch With God's Grace... Review: I bought this book because it was on sale at a local book store. I had seen Stanley speak before and figured it would be good reading. Little did I know this little book could steer my entire life in the right direction! Dr. Stanley just seems to have a gift of easing the truth through thick sculls like mine. Allowing the light in where it was completely dark. I recommend this book to anyone who has had anything go wrong in their life. My Charles Stanley collection continues to grow. God bless him!
Rating: Summary: The ABC's of God's Grace... Review: I bought this book several years ago on a whim. At the time it did not speak (so I thought) directly to the issues I was working through. Having recently picked it back up again, on a whim, it is a simple revelation. Pastor Stanley very gently, warmly, and systematically addresses those emotional and spiritual "cold pricklies" that prevent us from truly experiencing God's best for us. It is a book of wonderful "yeses" rather than "thou shalt nots." The book is broken up into simple chapter catagories that allow the reader to go directly to his or her issue or concern and be comforted and edified without having to first sort out several hundred pages. I can't recommend this book highly enough. There is very little a Christian may be feeling or experiencing that Pastor Stanley hasn't delt with in this book. Reading "The Source of My Strength" is time eternally well spent. Again, most highly recommended.

Rating: Summary: The Source of My Strength Review: In tragedy we need to know what the source of our strength is. When I lost someone I loved I needed to remember that Christ is the Source of my strength. Thank you Charles Stanley for your guidance and for sharing your knowledge of the word. I have also found it helpful to use another Christian book to help me continue to heal. It is Write From Your Heart, A Healing Grief Journal. The answers and the comfort are in the word and in Him.
Rating: Summary: a healing touch, truly Review: this book was awesome. Charles Stanley is really compassionate in this book. He goes through different types of emotional pain and really delves into the Scriptures to bring healing to those who are in pain. It's so highly recommended! Get it!
