Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. It let me understand my feelings better. I really appreciated the examples in the book. I could better relate and see the wrongfulness that occurs when dating. I am a college student therefore it is very difficult. It is hard to deal with all that goes on here and not be a part of it. I have struggled greatly and this book helped me to put my life and values into play.

Review: I have been following this standard for dating for years (I am 27 years old), and have been criticized greatly for it the last few. I started to let the world define the standard in the last year or two, but this book has re-kindled that desire to live a life pleasing to God and to focus on Him and service to Him and to only consider dating - even remotely - those women who also have the same standard and goals and focus in life.

Review: This is a great book for all serious Christian teenagers. It discusses important issues often ignored but still questioned. I thought it would be total bunk until I read it and realized that what Josh Harris is saying is a lot of good, true stuff about how we should live out God's will. It will change your life if you read it, but it's DEFINITELY worth it if you want to really live how God's calling you to.

Review: Joshua Harris' book seemed a little absurd when I first started to read the words, only because I was not being open minded. As the chapters went by, I began reading with an open heart. Believing in dating, it was difficult to realize God was wanting me to alter my lifestyle a little more. Instead of searching for a mate right now I need to use God's gift to me, which is my singleness, to do what God wants me to persue. My eyes were opened and I began to realize that even though it was going to be difficult, I would benefit from my decision later in life. This book explained the dangers of dating, and clearly stated why it was in your best intrest to court. I Kissed Dating Goodbye is an inspirational book that does not condemn a person for dating, but nonchalantly advises against is. I recommend this book to any teen looking for love ... just read it with an open mind! And don't JUDGE a book by it's cover! You'll soon discover GOD is the only true love you'll ever need! AMEN!

Review: Joshua Harris defies the world's ways of dating and helps one to focus on trusting God. He discusses the dangers and misconceptions of dating while emphasizing the importance of friendship and brotherly/sisterly love and truly being concerned for one another's best interests and guarding one another's walk with the King. Chapter five contained two poignant stories of exceptional quality which drove his point home with me in a practical and logical way. This is a book not just about dating, but about life itself! Summary: Good Dating Advice
Review: I would highly reccommend reading this book, if you're single and if you're wondering how to date. I own this book and "Knight in Shining Armor," and belive me, they're both worth reading, because they really help out the dating process. I would tell ANY single person or parent of ANY single person to buy this book for either a guy or a , and "Knight in Shining Armor" for a and have them read it. Another thing about this book, I would reccommend that a person would buy this book for a Christian young single, like ages 14 through like 30 years old, because it really DOES help out the dating process.:) (These books are helping ME out, so I'm speaking from personal experience.)

Review: this book is a "megaphone to rouse a deaf world," bringing a clear message to singles today that there is a better path to marriage than dating. the author brings his own life experiences into the book to make it really come to life - he also keeps it solidly grounded in the Bible. i would recommend this book (and i have) to anyone who is dating or seeking someone to marry. an excellent book from beginning to end.
