Summary: Excellent Resource for Church Music
Review: This is an excellent book outlining the proper style for church music. It is surprising that the author takes a classical approach to music coming out of the Assembly of God background. I especially appreciated the examples of good hymnody.The only shortcomings are 1) there was too much of an emphasis on chant for my taste, 2) also the book is lacking in scriptural support for the author's assertions on music style. This is highly recommended for church leaders and music ministers.
