Summary: A Health Warning to Heed!
Review: I feel I must WARN EVERYONE who has had RECENT surgery ...DO NOT READ this book till you are COMPLETELY healed. Pressure from laughing so hard could send you back to the hospital!

Summary: Buy High Sell Low
Review: This book is so entertaining and laugh-out- loud funny! I read it on the beach and actually GUFFAWED out loud! I recommend it to everyone as one the funniest reads around. Stock broker who turns to the monastery for solice and vows of silence, becomes the Monk of the Moment when he begins to read the signs and make great stock recommendations. A great book to read for those who take the market a little too seriously! Lighten up and read God is My Broker. Enjoy.

Summary: Bought It. Loved It. Loaned It.
Review: I loved how the authors skewered those (of us) who try to find enlightenment in books. This is a funny, funny book with characters who are lovable in their fallibility--and their greed.

Summary: Good fun
Review: While not quite as smart and smart-a**ed as Thank You for Smoking, God Is My Broker remains an entertaining read. The ending falls a little short of complete satisfaction, but as a whole the situations and plot twists presented are completely absurd yet somehow stangely plausible simultaneously (hey, if the "insights" of Anthony Robbins are good enough for Clinton, why shouldn't Deepak Chopra provide inspiration for a desperate abbot?) Buckley also has some great one-liners: "If God didn't want us to throw stones, why'd he leave so many lying around?" A worthwhile read, and very fast, too. Worth a whirl.

Summary: PERFECT
Review: I am 12 and have never read a self-help book before this one (I don't plan to in the future) It was a real fun book that was taken from me by my teacher-I JUST COULDN'T LET GO

Summary: Humorous and A Little Spirituality Too
Review: A wonderful read that brings attention to the idea that IF YOU REALLY LISTEN, God is always granting us what really matters.

Summary: Brilliant, Laugh out aloud funny!
Review: I picked up the book because of the title in the bookshop and read a few pages and decided to buy it. It's the best laugh I've had in ages - I just could not put it down. The cana combover is hilarious. I am not into self help books but I must recommend this as a rib tickler to put a smile on your face!

Summary: Fanciful Surprise
Review: I never read fiction. Saw this book lying on a table at the bookstore. Picked it up and started reading it. Bought it immediately and took it home. Read it in a matter of days. A great read. Really funny. Somewhat insprirational too. I'm going to try more fiction books at this point (especially bu Buckley).

Summary: Great Satire with a Bedrock of Truth
Review: I could not stop laughing as I read this book. What a wonderful, cynical satire. The characters were marvelous drawn. I liked how Brother Ty really ends up being the honestly spiritual person. What a hoot! Do try Little Green Men...

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: funny for 2 reasons
Review: This is a quick read that will provide a good laugh at the expense of mass market con artists.

I'm not sure which is funnier : this book - or those reviewers below who feel cheated because they took the title seriously.
