Summary: In the blink of an eye...
Review: I thought that this book was excellent! Tedd Dekker did a GREAT job of capturing his readers' attention by creating believable characters that were easy to relate to, by creating an interesting fast-paced plot, and by describing his locations and characters vividly.

Mariam is a twenty-year old Saudi Arabina princess. She is almost twenty-one, and will soon be given in marriage. Seth is in his mid-twenties, and is a brilliant man with an I.Q. higher than Albert Enstein's. An odd turn of events is about to bring this two individuals together.

After Miriam's close friend, Sita, is cruelly drowned, and Miriam finds out that she is going to be forced to marry a man that she does not know or love, Mariam flees Saudi Arabia to come to the United States.

After she reaches the United States, Seth Borders saves Miriam during a dangerous situation. Soon, Miriam learns that Seth has just recieved a God-given gift: he can see all of the possible outcomes for the future.

Soon, Miriam and Seth are constantly on the move, trying to protect Miriam from the people who want to take her back to Saudi Arabia so she can marry a man named Omar. Will Seth and Miriam make it out of this horrible situation alive? Read this book and find out!

I LOVED this book! If you want to read an AWSOME page-turner, or want to read about how God helps people in difficult situations, than this is the book for you! I give this book five stars!!

Summary: Exciting Action and Deep Truths exposed
Review: What a book, I was thoroughly entertained and challenged. This book brought to light the problems that are in the world of Islam. The harsh reality of Islam is exposed through this wonderful book. This book would make a GREAT movie, it quickly moves from difficult situation to another. Ted Dekker is a great writer, who challenges you to think in new ways. This book will surprise you.

Summary: Fun, Fun, Fun
Review: This is such a fun book! Take the brightest mind in the world and pit it against impossible odds in one of the coolest chase books I've ever read and what do you get? BLINK. The world is after Seth, but he has a little gift that is giving them fits. He can see all possible futures, out to three hours. He can control those futures. Try to assasinate a man like that! Course, he's falling in love with a fugative from Saudi Arabia and that will give him fits. Fun, fun, fun! This was extreemly well written and paced.

Only those who dissagree with the author's occsional dig at Islam could possibly give it less than honors.

Summary: Hard subject; Brilliant treatment
Review: Let's face it, tackling Islam on any level is touchy in today's political climate. Dekker, born and raised in Indonesia according to the jacket, does it exceptionally well, with a careful pen. He does draw a significan distinction between Mohammed and Jesus, but not in an offensive way. Saudis might find some offense.

The story itself is brilliant. Face paced and very intelligent. Essentially a chase story with some wild twists at every chapter. If you're easily offended by frank discussions of Islam, this one might offend you. Otherwise, lock and load cause this is one fine and wild ride.

Summary: Poor,Poor,Poor!
Review: This is the worst book I have ever read.

Summary: Evangelism
Review: This book demonstrates the reason of widening gulf between the Christianity and Islam. It's not the people who follow one particular religion or sect who create discord, but writers, speakers and evangelist like Mr.Dekker who give a very distorted vision, and they think they're the one's who aren't biased.
Mr.Dekker, concept of different Gods for Judaism/Christianity vs Islam demonstrates his narrow vision and his willingness to misguide his readers to create confrontation rather then acceptance.

Summary: A thriller I couldn't put down
Review: This was the first book I read by Ted Dekker, but it certainly won't be the last. This book, well written, intense, compelling and non-stop action was impossible to put down. I read the entire thing in two sittings, in 1 24 hour period. I am a big fan of well written Christian fiction, and this was one of the best. It isn't like the Left Behind Series, but rather the finding of God through faith. Excellent read that I highly recommend.

Summary: I Couldn't Put It Down!
Review: This book was a thrilling read. The action never stopped. To top it off, it was an educational story about Islam and the persecution of women in the Middle East. This is the fourth Dekker book that I have read and it was my favorite. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Summary: Timely Story
Review: Another great effort by Ted Dekker. Fast paced, exciting story. Good character development. Not pc but alot of truth about cultural differences.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Needed a lot more attention
Review: The careless writing in this surprised me, especially in light of some of the other reviews. It seems to have been written too quickly with no attention to details. Really clumsy love story and unbelievable characters.

Predictable story, too.

It has its moments, but not nearly enough of them!
