Rating: Summary: Captures the true meaning of Christmas... Review: This is an excellent book... well written, based on the Bible, creative, and humorous. My English teacher was the first to read it to me, and I will now share it with my family this Christmas. I don't think it's too hard for children from the ages of 7 on up to understand. I know I certainly enjoyed it... you will too.
Rating: Summary: Awe-inspiring perspective on the birth of Jesus Review: This was one of the best books i have read. Purchased as a gift, i decided to read it before wrapping it up. It was a very easy, one night
read. This book really gave me a different perspective on the birth of Jesus. Max Lucado's
ideas and writings on the angel Gabriel's participation was wonderful. I reccommend this book HIGHLY
Rating: Summary: the angel fighting is a little cheesy, but the rest is great Review: what i understood the intent of this book to be was that lucado wanted to convey the message of the vast love of God. i think he did this exceptionally. the books reads quickly (about 2 hours), and is worth buying for your personal library.I am especially intrigued by how lucado described the Godhead (oneness) -- very accurate!
