Summary: Supposed Religion of Peace
Review: Interesting how many people will proclaim that Islam is a religion of peace when it seems that the authoritative books tell a very different story. I looked up every verse that was referenced in this book and they all proved to be true. The author does an excellent job of explaining that the so called extremist Muslims are actually the one who are TRULY following their faith.

Summary: Quran: It's Cleansing Sword for Pagans
Review: The author of ISLAM AND TERRORISM cites specific Surahs(verses) in the Quran to show how Islam really doesn't "tolerate" Jews and Christians ("People of the Book/Bible") and pagans/infidels (non-monotheists). The Quran's Surah 9:5 is pretty clear: "Fight and slay the Pagans wherever you find them...."
The author explains "Naskh": why contradictions appear to exist in the Quran. Some verses tell Muslims to respect Jews and Christians (but only if they pay a tax), while others urge a Jihad against them. What this author reveals is that Muhammad received different revelations from Allah at different times as to how the Jews and Christians were to be treated.
The later revelations against non-Muslims reverse the earlier toleration commandments.
This is the only book that I have found that extensively cites passages from the Quran to reveal how Usama/Osama bin Ladin's gang justify their killings of non-Muslims, including innocent women and children.
The author notes that the Quran is not written in a straight timeline. Its chapters are not written in chronological order, but the largest chapters are followed by ever-smaller chapters. One needs to obtain another booklet to learn how scholars believe which chapter actually was revealed before the others. This is necessary in trying to understand Allah's "last" views as revealed to Muhammad. They changed; hence, one needs to know when each chapter was written in order to understand the which were the correct "last" or "most up to date" dictims from Allah: does he tolerate Jews or not? Allah must not, as Muhammad ordered the killing of so many Jews, and ordered Jews and Christians out of Arabia. (This explains why there are no Christian churches or Jewish synagogues in Saudi Arabia. As a U.S. solider in Saudi Arabia during Gulf War I to liberate Muslim-Kuwait, we were told not to wear Christian crosses on the outside of our uniforms. Also, when you check into a Saudi hotel, the registration card asks you your religion -- but the kind proprietor told me I really didn't have to note it.)
Too bad the critics of this book don't explain what specific falsehoods they find in it. I looked up all of the citations in THE NOBLE QURAN (published by the government of Saudi Arabia) and found them to be accurate.
A fine campanion book from this author is: ISLAM AND THE JEWS - THE UNFINISHED BATTLE.

Summary: An Amazing Thought Provoking Journey to Truth
Review: Those who lowly rate this book, do so not out of scholary criticism, but because they can't take the truth it contains. It is one the best books written between the subjects of Islamic terrorism versus Christian evangelism, the missing religious dimension of the war on terror. It is succint, practical, and relavent to our time. The insights come from a scholar and thinker, who paid for his religious liberty in his own blood and persecution. Especially helpful is his comparison of English translations of the Quran (Koran) showing that "The Noble Quran" is more straightforward. His personal story, a faithful quest for intellectual and spiritual truth, is highly recommended to all, including those of the West who have difficulty understanding the lack of freedom of speech in Islamic nations. Those who unduly criticize this book, wish to extend that lack of freedom of speech even here!

Summary: Sometimes Ignorance is a bless
Review: "Sometimes Ignorance is a bless" This should be the title of this dangerous book because this book addresses the fools only or the ignorant ones of course, this book has nothing to do with Islam and Muslims and the writer of this book doesn't know any thing about Islam, I think the writer just wanted to use the ignorance of some people to get more money and in fact he succeeded in that because most of the readers can't differentiate between the truth and lies. The writer said that he's a former Muslim who lived in Cairo and studied in Al-Azhar, well I can talk about that because I'm an Egyptian and I'm living in Cairo and I'm a Muslim and I'll tell you a story that you probably knew as you studied in Al-Azhar, one day some Muslims wanted to enlarge one of the mosques but there was a small house that should be removed in order to enlarge the mosque but this house belonged to a Christian woman who refused to take money for the house and the Muslims needed to pull down the house to enlarge the mosque, so they decided to pull down the house and to give the Christian woman money whether she liked it or not and they enlarged the mosque, then the Christian woman went to the "Khalifa" which means the ruler of the Muslims at that time but you already know that as you studied in Al-Azhar any way his name was "Omar Ebn Al Khatab" and she told him about what happened to her, Do you know what he did, of course you know you are a former Muslim who studied in Al-Azhar, I'll tell you any way he pulled down the mosque and rebuilt the Christian woman's house again and gave her money as a compensation for what happened Do you know why did he do that, of course you know you are a former Muslim who studied in Al-Azhar, but I'll tell you any way, he did that because that's justice and that's what Islam is about "Justice", justice for all, Muslims or non Muslims. Did you know that Egypt is the only country in the world that gives its citizens a vacation on one of the Christian holidays even though we are an Islamic country! At the end I'll say that this book will convince the naives only because any blind one can see the intolerance of this book and its writer.

Summary: How does it go.... An eye for an eye?
Review: It is curious to note the reviewer from Coral Springs writes, "there are countless theological errors in his book about Christianity, and I cannot recommend what he puts forth as the true Christian Gospel. Therefore, the reader is best served by ignoring what Gabriel presents as Christianity." Oh, I don't know, shouldn't it stand to reason that the reader should also ignore what Gabriel presents as Islam, as well????? Just a thought. Let's be fair.

Summary: This book is great
Review: I picked this book up initially because of the title. When I started to read the story of this man and how he escaped Islam, it captured my attention. This is yet another story of someone who struggled, and by the power of Lord, he was set free. His credentials are amazing as well. When Gabriel exposes this arabian death cult, he does so with authority and a vast amount of knowledge. I learned alot about Islam and why anyone would blow themselves up for allah. I know understand why these poor people choose to do so. They have no other way to guarantee their salvation. How sad. I hope those who read it will get the message about Islam. Maybe we can pray for them and for their salvation, and convict us to send more missionaries to the Middle East to help a hurting peoples. I also wish that our government officials would read this book so that they stop speaking ignorantly about Muslims and what they believe and what their intentions are with us. I recommend this to anyone who wants to make sense of the world today, and also to those considering making it their mission to share the light of Christ with Muslims.

Review: I wouldn't give this book even one star if that were an option. It's interesting to see how many people find the reviews that give full stars to this piece of bigotry to be the most helpful. Tell me, how many of you already hate Islam and Muslims before you even read this? You're so pathetic, reading one book and thinking that you have all the answers. Aren't you aware that thousands of intellects have existed before you and thousands will exist after you? Your puny intellects can't comprehend that the words of the Divine are revealed to us in a particular social setting during a particular time? Have you read any religious scripture that is completely separate from the context in which it was revealed? Wake up people, we are FINITE and God is INFINITE..this is what God is telling us repeatedly in the Quran. If you believe the most hateful things about Islam to be true, then you are no less ignorant than the followers who you despise--because they obviously believe hatred to be the truth as well. I wonder what kinds of dangerous truths you might read in the Bible.

Review: Mark Gabriel writes utter garbage. It makes me sad as a Muslim that such lies and misinformation is allowed to published and read by an impressionable public. This book is malicious, and hateful towards muslims and islam and does not foster or do anything to make things better. He is nothing but a bigot who has preyed on influential minds whose only image of Islam is Osama Bin Laden. His interpretation and quotations of the Quran is pure fiction of the highest order. His material should be in the National Enquirer next to the article My father is a two-headed alien and belonged to Al-Quaeda and thats why muslims hate... so and so.
