Review: This book in an amazing book. It is moving and unforgettable

Summary: Jump Through the Page....
Review: This novel is a touching story, of Ninah who i fell in love with, at times i wanted to jump through the page to tell her to stay strong and that i would be her friend. Not only did this book give me chills every night when i sat down to read it, but it made me mad that this kind of brainwashing occurs in our own society. The message in this story is profound and inspiring. The characters are so wonderfully developed, you can really feel the pain this young girl who is torn between a warped religion and morals is feeling. A wonderful novel that you will NOT be disappointed in. All my friends at Dowling College feel the same! BUY IT!

Summary: RAPTURE OF CANAAN
Review: I do not want people to confuse this book with actual facts from the bible. The tribulation itself will only be for seven years. The thousand year reign will occur after that when Christ returns for yet a third time to destroy the devil and reign on the earth for a thousand years.

Summary: It raptures you...
Review: This book is amazing! It captures your heart and lifts your spirits. It is a story unlike anything you've ever read before. You will find yourself wishing you were part of their lives... I strongly recommend this book.

Summary: A novel I'll remember...
Review: The story was so interesting & the book was so easy to read that I read the book in 2 sittings.

Reynolds is an excellent writer & she enabled me to envision the characters--and I couldn't get them out of my mind!

My somewhat interest in religion had me even moreso impressed by this book--but I still recommended this book to everyone I know (even those not so interested in relgion).

I can't wait to read Reynolds' other novels!

Summary: I can't stop thinking about it!
Review: Once I opened the book for the very first time, I read just about half the book--because it was easy to read & the story was so interesting! The main characters are so well developed I had them in my thoughts the entire time I read the book & for days afterwards. I admit, my interest in religion probably made me more involved in the book then I should've been. Although I am not a very religious person myself, I found myself analyzing the book constantly. I've recommended this book to everyone. One flaw: THE ENDING CAME MUCH TOO SOON!

Summary: Well written
Review: This novel was thought provoking and well written. The subject matter was, what I thought to be, very interesting and unique. Set within a cult community the main character, Ninah, struggles with the emotional and physical confinements of her environment only to find that true peace resides within ones self. Certainly worth reading.

Summary: JENNIFER, MOTHER IN ALABAMA
Review: THIS BOOK IS EXTREMELY THOUGHT PROVOKING. IT STAYED WITH ME LONG AFTER I FINISHED. I CONTINUED TO ANALIZE IT EVEN DURING THE NEXT BOOK I READ. IT WAS AN EASY READ IN THAT I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. IT WAS IMPORTANT THAT IT STIMULATED MY "PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY BRAIN"! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.

Summary: Interesting, but contrived
Review: Reynolds' good writing does her credit, and she certainly developed an interesting story. However, it seemed to have no immediacy to readers unless they're members of fanatic cults themselves. the point of the book please?

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I felt like I was living among the characters of the book.
Review: This book had me on the hook from beginning to end. The characters were so well defined that they came to life for me. I looked forward to going to bed at night so that I could continue reading.
