Rating: Summary: Enjoyable Review: The reason I gave this book four instead of five stars is for the simple fact that at the beginning of the book, I couldn't get into it like I wanted. But as I kept going, I did. You cannot help but love Michelle,Tonya, and Ms Ida. Ms Delores Judson is a whole other book. But, you can't help but feel sorry for her. Beacause, she was facing a terrible dillemma here and did what she felt was best. But thank God that her husband did what she couldn't or wouldn't do. Very enjoyable read.
Rating: Summary: Cover Girls should stay under cover! Review: To say that I was utterly disappointed with this book would be an understatement. Extremely predictable it reminded me of a low budget movie. I would not recommend it to any of my friends who are also avid readers. I chalk this one up to a donation to Jakes ministry. I wish I had sown a seed elsewhere.
Rating: Summary: Not what I expected Review: When I saw this book in the store I raised an eyebrow but I bought the thing and read it anyway. It's not bad. Actually, the Bishop can tell a pretty good story. He hasn't sold out, it's an inspirational tale that follows it's Four Seasons heroines throughout trials, tribulations and finally a reckoning with God and themselves. If this is the start of a new twist in Bishop Jake's remarkable career I hope it continues.
