Review: Yes, this is a great book for the novices who want to learn how to understand and interpret the Bible responsibly. The many references to the author's other products are extremely annoying to me, but I might be more sensitive about these things than others. In any case, even this major bad point should not stop you from getting this book. The book's length is also very manageable.
