Review: This book was very informative and helpful. Joyce gives examples that are easy to understand and, since she used to be insecure herself, she is not just preaching, but telling about the things she did to help her overcome her insecurities. Being in high school, I have always wanted to be like everyone else. If they did something that I wasn't good at, I'd get jealous and try to copy them, failing and thinking I was no good at anything. One of the points Joyce made that helped me is that God gave everyone their own unique gifts and talents. Each person can do something different with their talents, and one person is not good at everything. This book has helped me accept the fact that I'm not perfect, and to try to focus on what I'm good at. I would recommend this book to anyone. It really helps you build confidence and helps you discover your own unique gifts and talents! :)
