Summary: The only book I ever read that I wished wouldn't end!
Review: I guess all of us with average intelligence possess the ability to think things similar to what we read -- Max Lucado likewise, has that ability plus the ability to put it in writing and make you wish there at least a thousand more pages to read! Excellent reading for any christian, especially the young, the old, and the out-of-fellowship ones and the indifferent.

Summary: Inspired a New Year's resolution - To live IN Christ -
Review: This book is inspiring. Filled with wisdom, the book reads with ease. At the end of each chapter I wanted to turn the page and read the next. I was so inspired while reading the book, I made a New Year's resolution like no other - To live IN Christ - My goal is to reach a point that I spend an entire day IN Christ - To spend an entire hour IN Christ would be refreshing - Imagine an entire day! When I reached the last chapter I wanted more. Then to my surprise and delight, Max gave me more. At the end of the book the reader will find a Study Guide which correlates to each chapter - I read the book AGAIN - this time using the study guide. What a wonderful tool! Not just a bunch of nice words, but a way to apply them - THANK YOU MAX! After reading this book, I purchased other books by Max Lucado. He is an excellent and inspiring author. Again, THANK YOU MAX!

Summary: "Suspended Literary Work"
Review: A well of pondering this book brought out in me. Max Lucado suspended the time of Christ applyed it into my life today. The book "Just like Jesus" revealed the "not so good" in the "pretty darn good person" and how to evolve into a Christ like figure. I would give this book to my best friend and my worst enemy. A Superb peice of material to read, especially if one is a first time reader of this author.

Summary: WOW! How amazing it is!
Review: As a freshman in college, I was worried about the things I would be exposed to. Not to my surprise, I was exposed to all I thought and more. With this book, Mr. Lucado gave me the inspiration to live my life "Just Like Jesus" and not be frightened of the things I see. Not only that, Mr. Lucado gives guidelines that are very easy to understand and relate to. Max Lucado is a superior writer with the annointing of God's wisdom and in this book, Mr.Lucado shares How we all can be "Just Like Jesus." Peace.

Summary: a guide to todays way of living
Review: This is the first book I have read by Max Lucado and I am thrilled to have found it..I saw a brief ad in a magazine and then found it and am excited to have found this guide to todays way of living. The person of Jesus is shown to be a person you would like to spend time with, a person who you can admire, respect and hope to be like. What I like is the practical, daily aspect of the book in regard to how I can live day to day Just Like Jesus. It takes a subject that be made very complex and religious rules driven and made it a simple, doable day by day experience. I found this book just before Christmas and gave copies to several people as gifts.

Review: If you have any questions about your life and what direction it's in, this book is for you. I couldn't put this book down. I received a huge amount of insperation and answers to alot of questions. A very powerful piece of reading. "God loves you just the way you are, but refuses to let you stay that way. He wants you to be just like Jesus."

Summary: Thought provoking and challenging!
Review: Reading each of Max's books, I wonder how he could possibly to any better. This book, "Just Like Jesus" focuses on His love for each and every one of us. But, not only does Jesus love us the way we are, He wants us to grow, learn and strive to be more like Him. Max presents us with many daily situations; some happening to us right now. He also gives us various ways to look at each situation (sort of a what would you do) type of lesson. Throughout the book, we are challenged; challenged to take that extra step; challenged to grow in faith and in our personal relationship with our Lord and Savior. Sure, Jesus loves us; beyond a question of a doubt. Jesus loves you; but HE wants us to be "Just Like Jesus". For those who are new to Christianity, you'll learn more of how great the Lord's love for you truly is. For those that Christianity is already your life; you'll learn to explore, grow and strengthen your personal relationship. For those in doubt; never fear, for he is always with you. I encourage you to take the challenge. Go the extra step, strive to become "Just Like Jesus".

Review: Many people now days have either heard, or own a WWJD bracelet. The intitials are to remind us what Jesus would do in certain situtations. This book by Lucado is WWJD in a book. It opens the reader's eyes on their relationship with Jesus Christ. It makes us want to love Jesus more. It makes us want to walk and be just like Jesus.

Review: In typical Max Lucado style, he gets to the heart of the matter with practical, real-world, touching stories. It would be difficult to read this book and NOT find something in your life that you would WANT to change. Also, just like his other books, this one is very enjoyable to read!
