Rating: Summary: Positively PHENOMENAL!!! Review: This book was absolutely AWESOME!! I was quite surprised to see that some of the other reviews said they didn't like it! I really have no clue what they were talking about - If they were 'bored' with the Princess theme, then they obviously did not grasp its significance! This book was absolutely incredible!!!! Too many women and girls, especially in our day and age, are bombarded with the idea that 'falling in love' is just a farce; it can't really happen; it's found only in fairy tales. Our modern world is full of stylish cynicism. This book illustrates that Jesus was the Author of romance, the ultimate Romance, of course, being between us and Him. But also, for those women who the Lord has a man chosen for her to marry, the Lord can write a beautiful love story for her if she is willing to follow Him. I work at a Christian bookstore and I've set all the copies of this book we've received aside, and I've given them all away to people! I can't recommend this book highly enough! I even told my brother to read it; I told him it would help him understand how girls and women really feel, though they rarely say it. He read it and loved it. He was talking to one of his guy friends about it and ended up sending him one! As I said, I cannot praise it enough; I encourage any and all girls and women to read it. Whether you're young and single, or married with a couple kids. Not to mention that if you're a guy, this book will help you understand us females! =) I've never read a book that so perfectly described the way I feel! It is positively PHENOMENAL!!!
Rating: Summary: Disappointing Review: This book was not at all what I expected. I agree with the reviewer who said that the author uses a lofty tone just for the sake of being lofty. This is the first book of Nicole Johnson's I've read, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I thought the idea of a princess heart had a lot of potential, but I got tired of the whole princess thing very quickly. I had a hard time finishing this book and found myself thinking "Come on, get to the point already."
Rating: Summary: Don't judge a book by the cover. Review: This was ABSOLUTELY the best book I've read all year (2003)! Not only did I laugh, cry, and read it with barely putting it down, I bought 7 copies and gave them away with tissues! This book really reminded me of who I was meant to be... not in an arrogant and puffed up way, but that I am precious and that my Prince is coming after me, one day!! In the meantime, I am preparing to meet Him and making myself ready! Loved it! Loved it!! Loved it!! THIS is the "Wild at Heart" for women!! If you don't get this, you have your heart locked in a closet!!

Rating: Summary: Male reader with high praise for this book! Review: Wow! I am compelled to write this just to raise the overall star rating to what the author deserves. Being 53 and recently divorced, after a 32 year marriage, I have been very interested in what went wrong. I've read lots of books on relationships, divorce and healing over the past 2 years and this one has helped me to better understand how women (many of you), and perhaps my former wife, see themselves and their situations. That the author ends up pointing to Jesus as the ultimate prince, does the most to authenticate this work. The author does for women, here, what John Eldredge does for men in his book "Wild at Heart". What great encouragement for women! I would say that the first two reviewers suffer from the very hardness-of-heart that the author touches on in this book and their very response here does all the more to validate the author's insights with regard to womens' hearts in general.
