Review: The best book that I've ever read. It's the next bible. This has convinced me to become a huge Jesus Freak. Dc Talk first opened my eyes about Jesus with their music and this book was the icing on the cake.

Review: WOW..all I have to say is WOW. I have always been interested in martyrs, and those persecuted for their faith. When I saw this book I had to get it. I read it every moment I get, my mind whirls with the thought that these men and women had enough in them to say "YES I BELIEVE IN JESUS". I am moved by the amazing faith these people had in our Lord. I only pray that my faith will reach half of what theirs is. And when I am faced with life or death, I will gladly choose death knowing the reward that awaits on the other side.

Review: This book is amazing and I highly recommend it. Not only does it make you wonder if you have the faith to die for Jesus Christ the Lord of all, but it makes you question whether or not you're really living for him to begin with.

Review: I teach a 4th thru 6th grade Sunday school class and when I found this book and began brousing through it, God put on my heart to read single accounts each week from it to my class. I have been giving it as a reward to the diligent kid's that bring their Bibles and memorize their weekly scriptures. I only give away (2) copies every other week because I want them to work for this book and to appreciate what they hear from it each week. Also,I can't afford to buy more than (4) copies each month. I know that kid's will read this and that God will use it to create a hunger for more of His Word in them just as Foxe's book of Martyrs did for me when I was younger. Parent, Teachers or anyone: Give this book away and read it yourself.

Summary: A GLIMPSE INTO HEAVEN THROUGH THE EYES OF OTHERS
Review: What wonderful stories of faith. The boldness and faith written of in this book is beyond comprehension. The people in the stories were and are a real testimony to the rest of us. I had no idea that so many are still being persecuted in such horrendous ways. It is a real heart opener to read of the peace these brothers and sisters in the Lord had while in prison or while being put to death. This is a book worth sharing with others.

Summary: Powerful and eye opening accounts of modern day martyrs
Review: I was introduced to this book after Spirit West Coast and was apalled that there has been more martyrs in the last few years than there were in 100a.d.(When the Roman Empire was persecuting the church.) This book challenges you to not take your faith for granted. Compared to these horrifically true stories, we have no reason for not sharing our hope with others. I recommend this book to every Christian that wishes to grow stronger in the Lord.

Review: WOW! Like the other reviewer, I first got this book because it's by my favorite Christian group. But soon, I realized how inspiring and encouraging this book is and how it challenges all of us to be bold about Christ, no matter what the cost! What really touched me was those who were told things like "your child will be killed if you don't refuse Christ" and yet they were still able to be bold for Jesus, even if it meant their own child or loved one being killed. How many of us could do that?! This is an outstanding book and it's a tribute to those who found something worth dying for. If you don't find something worth dying for, then you're not really living.

Review: I first bought this book based on the fact that my favorite music group contributed to it. That changed after a few pages of reading. "Jesus Freaks" holds provocative, inspiring stories of the undying faith of those who were martyred in the name of Jesus Christ. Some of the people mentioned in the book were tortured. Some had family members killed in front of them. Some had withstood the effects of brainwashing. All were firm in their faith. I would highly recommend "Jesus Freaks" to anyone interested in being inspired.

Review: When I read this book I was completely taken aback. I thought I was making sacrfices for God. When I read about they're life sacrifices. I had to ask myself:"if I were in their shoes would I have done the same?" They gave it all for God, thier money, thier happiness, everything, even thier lives. In a country such as this where we live where we're aloud to speak about our faith is so great. The people that are "Jesus Freaks" per se realize how important God is to them. They live in countries where there are no distractions except religious oppression their faith really grows to an extreme. They would live and die for God! Read this book it will change your life. Christian or non-Christain alike.
