Summary: What you think of me is none of my business..
Review: A potentially life altering book...Dispels old notions and enlightens...entirely altered my perception of how life can and should be lived...

Summary: GREAT
Review: For a person who seriously has problems with low self-esteem or agoraphobia, this book provides no insight or solution. Terry Cole Whittaker is a religious minister, not a psychologist. Ms. Cole Whittaker is well meaning, but misses the point by asking her readers to rely on (a Christ based) God. She doesn't even explain HOW to rely on God. At times I felt like I was reading Dr. Laura. For spiritually based solutions to this problem, it's a decent book, but psychological self-help, it's not.

I guess my biggest disappointment was I thought I was going to get Dr. Scott Peck kind of wisdom, instead I got Dr. Laura "morality."

Summary: Terry = a true friend.
Review: My mom gave me one of Terry's books to read, "Love and Power in a world with out limits". I have re-read it over 5 times. I feel like she talks striaght to me as the smartest friend with the best advice. I recomend any of her books to anyone who wants peace of mind in thier lives and over all true unconditional love. After reading her books I have lost wieght, gained self respect and love, and made my exsisting relationships sweeter. It is easier for me to see love in everyone and everything. THANK YOU TERRY!!!

Summary: GREAT
Review: This book helped me get out of the negative thinking patterns that have ruled my life for 32 years. I took what applied to me from the book, and I left what didn't. I think it forces you to take a look at your own spirituality, and it has made me think of who or what God is in my life. I found it extremely helpful to do the exercises at the end of the chapters as well as the affirmations. I would recommend this for anyone with an open mind looking to make a change in his/her thinking!

Summary: right on the money
Review: This book is right on the money! It nails the reality we all face with always wondering what other people are thinking and modifying our behavior to fit their expectations. Cole-Whittaker points out the what we do and why we do it with razor sharp clarity. She does this and at the same time points the way to modifying our own behavior and subconscious influences. I haven't even finished it yet but have quoted a number of parts to friends and they have agreed that she is right on. She combines all of this with a clear understanding of the importance of our relationship with God and His role in all of this. Wonderful!

Summary: Spirituality discussion, yes. Help with self esteem, no.
Review: This book was filled with discussion of spirituality and God, but had very little to do with how to stop thinking negative thoughts. I found it hard to follow, and what little non-rambling there was seemed to be punctuated every 10 words with "God!"

Summary: What I Think of Me is Your Business
Review: This is a timeless book. So many hours are wasted thinking or even caring about someone else's opionion about you. Actually, according to Terry Cole Whittaker, it does not matter.

Set yourself free! The only real thing that matters is what you think about and enjoy about yourself. This book teaches you how to cope, how to figure out who and what is important to you, and how to tap into your happiness. She does so by being openly transparent with the reader. Because Terry came clean, so can you and free yourself from restricting shackles.

Self-awareness exercises and found at the end of each chapter, retrains your belief systems and challenges old, ususally false, assumptions. You learn instead how to base your joy. read this book, recognize your potential, and then make a true, authentic difference in this world because what you think about yourself is what is right.

Summary: Why do you care?
Review: Why do you care about what other people think? What matters is what you think. Terry Cole Whittaker explains this in basic terms, to help people get their ego out of the way. We are in control of ourself, other people can think what they want and always do. We can only control what we think of ourselves.
People who lack confidence, care about what others think. Great read!
