Summary: Shines light into dark historical corners
Review: Having just read this excellent book, I now have to review my scepticism of Patton's claimed-to-be-true novel "THE Autobiography of Jesus of Nazareth...". Kimball has done a wonderful task in researching all those manuscripts that you occassionally hear about but don't necessarily connect together. If what these authors claim is true, then the orthodox Church has a lot of explaining to do. Kimball has shone light into the dark areas that I've often wondered about but was told not to look too closely at! I'm hoping that we live in an age of revelation. These book are a definite and positive step forward. Although a slim volume, I highly recommend this book.

Review: I find it interesting so many reviews for this book and some from his relatives and family. This is not wrong for if you cannot garner independentand objective reviews one should urge others to write their own for his own. Regardless, the book simply lacks the scholarly analysis necessary to gain any worthwhile professional respect. What ever his degrees I noticed none in the field of history, divinity or religion. This author uses many of these stories as if they are or have been historically accurate, most are not and this what he has failed to tell us.

Review: I have been so impressed with this book that I have purchased several of them to give away because of the simple history of the Bible and the eairly life of Jesus. Many questions have been answered as to His life and why more things are not written about His life between 12 and 30. This is truly an inspired book! Kimball has done a great job in orginizing the subject and relating to the people of today. I can now understand why many Christians feel that the Dead Sea Scrols are a threat to their basic belief system. A great book to read and easy to understant!

Review: I have read some of the reviews to Glenn's book. I, too, am an author although my books are in an entirely different field. Those who will look at the marvelous information contained in Glenn's book they will clearly see the support they give to Biblical accounts and will appreciate the great and loving example the Savior showed us during his life. Little has been published about the childhood of Jesus and to receive additional information that further supports the love he showed to others is truly worthwhile. I recommend this work to everyone who has any appreciation of the Savior's works or seeks in anyway to emulate his great example.

Review: I have read this book several times, and still use it as a valuable resource. What Kimball has done in bringing this information together and bringing it to the public is quite humbling. I would recommend this book for everyone's library or coffee table.

Review: I heard of this book on Art Bell's radio program. I don't know if this guy is finding the truth or not but it sure makes for a great fireside chat! Read it for yourself!

Review: I really was not at all that impressed with the effort put into writing this book. The story was lacking, the first half was why to believe this book and the last quarter was anecdotes. I wish more focus and effort had been placed on the middle part as any one bit of information could have filled the book. I do recommend this book as it may help some readers, but the reason the details of Jesus as a youth were not included or inspired by the Prophets from the Holy Spirit to record it, was Jesus came to die and raise Himself from the dead, so that all who believe on Him will have eternal life too. THAT is what the reader should always keep in their heart as they read this book. Praise the Lord!!!!!!

Review: I would encourage everyone to read this book for a better understanding about the early life of Jesus prior to the Biblical recordings. I have always wondered about the younger years of the childhood of Jesus and why nothing was recorded about His early life. The second half of Kimball's book has some wonderful insights to His life while growing up. These stories are great to tell young children and are very interesting. For a good feel for the life of Christ, I would put this book next to the Bible.
