Rating: Summary: A Truly Refreshing Insight into Prayer for Teens Review: I think this is a wonderful book for Christian girls who want to grow in their faith but don't know how. It makes prayer so attractive and easy! After reading this book, you will want to pray, I guarantee it. Every teenage Christian girl should read this book.
Rating: Summary: Not what I expected... Review: I thought that this was a book about prayer and how to develop your prayer life. It really isn't. It's made up conversations about a girl talking to God. The book is still good, but it's not what I thought, which was dissapointing.
Rating: Summary: awesome book Review: Susie Shellenberger, the editor of Brio and Brio & Beyond magazines, compiled this book from all the "God Said, I Said" articles that appeared in Brio nad Brio and Beyond over the years. She added a few new articles and some commentary for this book. The result is that this book is one of the best books I've ever read on the subject matter of prayer. The book, which is several converstaions between a girl and God on topics ranging from questioning Christianity to sex, is a very good read. In it you learn how to pray from the heart based on the girl's conversations with God, and Susie sums up the articles with some comments on how to use them in real life, i.e., get comfortable enough with God to tell Him everything. I really liked this book and would recommend it to any Christians I know, because it is an excellent book on prayer.

Rating: Summary: Interesting Review: This book is O.K. I'm not going to say it's great. Susie Shellenburger, the editor of Brio magazine has helpful things to say in this book, but the way she shares it (conversation form) can get a little confusing, and annoying. At some points, it's hard to follow. I also worry that it might be hard to relate to. You had to be in almost the same position as the girl for it to help. If she had written this information down as a devotional form, I believe it could be a great book, however, the way she chose turned me away.
