Rating: Summary: You Will NOT Be Able To Put this Book Down!! Review: Rebecca Brown M.D, a believer in Jesus Christ meets the high priestess of the Satanic church, Elain; and eventually moves her into her house to help Elain out of Satanism. Rebecca tells her experience as well as she reveals all the different aspects of Satanism.Elain and Rebecca experience the unseen spirit world like no one I've ever read about before in my life! She also goes into out of body experiences, (astral travel) and how dark forces were controlling this astral projection. This hit home for me, because before I sought God and Biblical facts, I astral projected believing that good spirits were behind it. I could not stop reading this book, neither could any one that touched this book! We all went out and bought all Brown's books when my friend's husband found Brown's second book, Prepare For War at a garage sale. It was really informative especailly for me because my mother was into a lot of "so called" white witchcraft, which has a lot of the same things that Satamism has such as astral projection. So, this book reveals the tricks of Satan, who is known as an Angel of Light. It also gives an in depth description of demonic spirits, as well as how demons can enter our thought realm. Even if you don't believe in God and or Satan, I think you will enjoy reading this. If you are a thrill seeker, this one will sure thrill you. It actually kept me and a couple others up all night reading it.
Rating: Summary: Dose anyone actually believe this book? Review: Ok I know a whole church who took this seriously! How could you its obviuosly a hoax! Do you actually believe somone can physically change into a WereWolf? This book is full of nonsence like that. Im so scared the usa is secretly being run by satanic Witches!! lol This book is just a newer version of the Maleus Maleficarum in my opinion. Only the trully paranoid would ever take this conspiracy theory seriously. If you do take this book seriously id sugest a book calld Profesional Mental Help
Rating: Summary: Not a boring book! Review: This is a christian book that deals with witchcraft/satanism;written in story form-first half and gives out information (author's views)-second half. First, this is not the BIBLE;so therefore one has to take the story by faith. However, the author's views on occult practices are correct- One is playing with fire, regardless if you practice white or black magic;or do innocent occult practices ,like palm reading. All occult practices get their power source from dark forces. Satan is an angel of light, out to decieve many. He can give powers to people; (powers, which do good things) as long as he knows he has your soul. Even if you doubt the authors credibility, she is correct that ALL occult practices are sinful and are DANGEROUS.This fact is biblical ;which is why I give it four stars. Please read "A Divine Revelation of HELL" by Mary K Baxter. She deals with these issues also...the people and consequences....
Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!! Review: You MUST read this book, it will change your life. I've read it three time since 1992 and it always prompts me to pray more and prepare myself for spiritual battle daily. This is actually my fourth copy because when I lend it out, I don't get it back - it just keeps circulating around and around. And always the the reaction is the same from my friends and family who read it - Awesome! GOD BLESS YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
Rating: Summary: The most ridiculous thing I ever read!!! Review: When I read the book, was in 1995, at that time I used to attend an evangelic penthecostal church, and I was warned by the pastor that I had to pray before reading the book, I didn't do that. While I was reading, it seemed to me like reading a horror fiction book, nothing else. And then, when Rebecca Brown said that even nintendo games for kids, and acupunture are evil, made me think that that woman is crazy, how would a MD write something like that??? I felt sorry about patients who where in her hands.
Rating: Summary: Bladerdash Review: Save your money for some real writing. This is propaganda at it's worse. Lies and deception, at the expense of honesty and truth.
Rating: Summary: Response to March 25, 2001 Review: A hearty bravo to you; I couldn't have summized it better than you. To tell everything, Ms. 'Rebecca Brown's' background shows that not only are her claims false which investigation uncovers, but also reveals her wacky and crazed personal history during the years of the book's writing, both of which are able enough to finish discrediting any actual merit. Her undeniably untrue account is an unfortunate and deranged faery tale by a woman with real problems.
Rating: Summary: Set Free Review: I found this book very interesting and I thought it was very good. I think alot of "Cristians" don't relize what really goes on in this world and they are spiritually blind. This book helped me relize alot of things that I was spiritually blind in and through the power of God and the blood of Jesus i have over come and through this book I could see that. I highly recommend this book to people. Glory be to God. Amen!
Rating: Summary: Disgusting Review: This book has no business in any "religious" or "spiritual" section. Hatred and evil are not things that witches practice. No one else should either. I have often bee pleased by the variety of books that are offered on this site, but the fact that this is listed actually frightens me. Spread knowledge, not fear.
Rating: Summary: misguided and appalling Review: I am appalled that I found this book in a section on earth-based religions. Witches are not satanists, have nothing to do with satan, do not believe in an ultimate incarnation of evil, let alone worship it. Witches have one "law": An' in harm none, do as you will." Everyone should take particular note of the AN IT HARM NONE part - we do not inflict pain or suffering for power, pleasure, or for any other reason! This book is yet another misguided attempt to malign innocent, peaceful, loving people who just happen to worship different gods than the author of the book. She may feel that she is spreading goodness, or righteousness, or The Word, or whatever, but in actuality all she is doing is manifesting more hatred, bigotry and confusion in a world already burdened with too much. I pity the author for her closed-mindedness and/or ignorance, and I devoutly hope that Amazon.com gets a clue and puts this book into the sensationalist pulp fiction category where it belongs! I am extremely offended that the organizers of this site consider "Earth-based religions" an appropriate place to list this book.
