Review: Whenever i read the reviews for this book i become disturbed. Christianity as we see it in the bible has become so diluted and christians have become confused as to who they serve, and who GOD really is. In the misdt of this world, it seems like everyonewho goes to church at least 4 times a year and prays "our father who art it heaven.." can call themselves christian, but they do not really know the power of GOD. Being a christian IS about going to church and believing in GOD, but it also about arming yourself with knowledge, and fleeing from ignorance. Ignorance will kill you! Satan is all around us. His worshipers are an imbedded part of our society and yes, esp in the hospital. I am from AFrica, and a similar thing started happening to my older sister when she was nine. She fell ill, and went to see a doctor who drew blood, and my mother said he went to another room and began to shout and talk to himself. He came out and gave my mother some pills to give to my sister to take 4 times a day. Short after my sister started vomiting green stuff, and almost died. (she had a rare form of malaria that infected her liver) Shortly after they found out this guy was a witch doctor. My mother then read this book and began to pray over my sister. within days she was off her deathbed, and was completly cured. This book saved my sister's life.
If you say you are a christian, PLEASE read your bible everyday, if you really read your bible you would understand that everything written in this book is the truth.
satan has so ilfultrated our society and world that we think that everything that asks us to give up the things we like MUST not come from GOD. Trully following GOD with all your heart means you have to give up alot of the things you like. Being a true christian is not easy.
Robecca Browns book is not to be taken with a grain of salt. It is truth 100 percent. The reason most christians do not beleive is not because they do not believe in GOD, but if they believe this story is true, then thier whole world is blown to bits.
Its almost like the matrix, which is kind of funny, but true.
It is a real WAR, and you can remain ignorant, but that is your disadvantage. Do you believe that GOD created us just to live on the earth and go to church on sunday, watch TV and go to work the rest of our lives?
If you trully beleive that then you are not understanding the awesome power and the perfectness of GOD. You are not giving him the glory and credit he deserves.
God did create us to worship him, he also created us to fight evil and the devil everywhere we saw it. Why do you think the disciples cast out demons? Why do you think Saul spent the rest of his life writing letters to all the churches telling them how to guard themselves against the enemy. We dont call satan the enemy just because he is bad, we call him the enemy because he is trying to KILL US everyday, and if you believe that the war is a lie, then you are letting him decieve you.
READ YOUR BIBLE! the bible is the most important tool we have at our disposal. even if you do not read this book,read the bible! and read it carefully, pray about reading the bible, and think about it as often as you can. The bible can save your life! and if you don't read the bible, or have never read the bible, dont read this book.
The only way to fight off the attack of satan is through the holy ghost who arms you with the word of GOD, that comes from the bible.
"greater is he that is in me than he who is in the world" only works if you are filled with the holy ghost. tht supreme being. If you belive in God, but have not been filled with the holy spirit, he is NOT inside of you.
You are not automatically born with the holy spirit, you have to ask him to come.
If you havent asked him, then you are only flesh, with no spirit. satan is stronger than ANY human on earth. ( i am in no way glorifying him, i am only telling the truth. satan has magical evil powers, you do not, simple as that) the only person satan is not stronger than is GOD the all mighty. (satan got his power from GOD)When you ask the holy spirit to come live in you he protects you from all the "flaming arrows of the evil one" and no weapon formed against you will prosper. But God is kind and a gentleman, he will not force his way into your heart, he gave us free will.
TO ALL LUKEWARM CHRISTIANS:
If you go to church every sunday, and pray luke warm prayers to GOD whenever you need him to do you a favor. You don't trully know the power of the LORD GOD. Please read your bible, pray fervently and find out more about him before you make accusations that are riddled with ignorance.
GOD IS AMAZING and AWESOME. He is the creator of all the ends of the earth, and do not forget that satan was Lucifer, the most beloved of all of GODs angels before he became satan. GOD gave satan A LOT of power, but his power will never match GODs.
Christianity is NOT a joke! it is Real, and it is hard.
Cancer, AIDS,MS, Malaria, and all other diseases can be explained scientifically through atoms and electrons and all that other stuff, but who do you think created atoms and electons? Who created science? who created the human body? Those diseases have medical backing, and if God can make Saul blind, if he can raise the dead, if he can do all these wonderous things, dont you think he can also cure caner?
GIVE GOD THE CREDIT HE IS DUE, and do not underestimate the devil. He is tricky!

Summary: Re-Read the Bible if you do not believe
Review: To all the christians who reviewed this book and said it was not biblical, i suggest that you pray to the holy spirit to open your eyes, then go back and re-read the bible. Esp. revelation. Revelation is the one book that most people do not read, but reading revelation is a whole lot scarier than reading this book. In revelation John tells of the powers and demons satan has on his side. The book of revelation also calls satan "the lord of the earth" satan has done a very good job of making people believe that he is not capable any real power, but he holds a lot of power on this earth. Not once does anyone claim that satan has MORE power than our Lord GOD, but it is also a lie to say that he not powerful. I have seen the casting out of demons, but just because it is scary, hard to believe, or uncomfortable, does not mean it is not true. In the NT, does Jesus not give his disclipes the power to tread over serpents and cast out demons in his name. Now think about it. If a person has the CAST OUT a demon, does that not mean they were posessed in the first place? DEMONS ARE REAL! and if you are not covered by the blood, you are a sitting target.
For the people whose children saw demons, or ghosts when they read this book.
This book is not meant for people who are not covered in the blood of Jesus christ. If you read this book without proper prtection, satan WILL send his demons after you to scare and confuse you.
Also, please be careful, and seek GOD's voice before you deny the truths in this book. If you really are skeptical please pray EARNESTLY for GOD to give you an awnser. He says "before they call i will hear, and while they speak i will awnser" Hosea says "my people perish because of ignorance". Not believing in God's word is a sin, and it can seriously hinder your spiritual life, esp. in these last days.
satan's churchs are all around us, and the manifestation of his chaos on this earth are all around us. (9/11. gay marraige, reality TV shows, pornography, and all other fleshy sins prohibited in the bible.)
If you believe that the bible was trully written through the power of the holy spirit, you should have no problem beleiving things like this can happen.

Review: It is not surprise that even a Pastor would try to hinder or discourages others from reading it. If you read this book and got scared, guess who is diligently trying to scare you away from the subject? Satan or God. Spiritual Warfare is a subject that in today's churches is a forbidden subject.

The "new gospel" is the gospel of prosperity, "name it and claim it", "fake it until you make it" type of message that the church likes to hear. Mention prayer meeting, spiritual warfare, and even obedience and greater commitment to God and you will have a stampede of people out the doors. If what Rebecca Brown wrote is correct, then I am suggesting that even religious leaders could be Satan's agents. Stop for a moment and think on the prayer that the book has inside that the author wants you to pray before you even read it. The author states that Satan will use fear so you will stop reading it (if you started reading it) or just don't read it at all. The people that were oppressed by reading the book were, in my own personal opinion, not ready for an encounter to the reality of spiritual warfare beyond anything they have ever heard or read before. I confess that I did not sleep the night I read the chapters about the witch's story about demons and all the stuff. My mom, whom I consider a strong Christian then and now, was not able to read the book at all and my stepfather had to pray over her because of the oppression she felt. This book is not for everyone that is not mature enough to handle the information contained in this book.

Whether Rebecca Brown is a fraud or not, I don't know, but considering the subject I am not and will not be surprised at all of the attacks this book will face. Why? Because like I stated before, spiritual warfare seems to be a subject unknown and/or unwanted in the church today. Let me be very clear on this; they are demonic forces at work and they are in your church as well. I don't care, and it doesn't matter, if you are a Baptist, Pentecostal, Church of God member, Church of Christ member, Catholic, Methodist, Presbyterian, or if Jesus is your blood brother and you have all the gifts of the Spirit; Satan is at work trying to deceive people and trying to have Christians in a passive mode. The Bible is very clear in the subject of spiritual warfare and Satan's role to steal, kill, and destroy still are his objectives.

One more thought...consider the attacks on the gospel of prosperity (which I consider a half bait gospel) and compare them with the attacks on people that are trying their best to expose Satan's plans. You'd be the judge.

Even Satan disguises himself as an Angel of Light so don't be surprise that also his servants will try to discourage people from knowing Satan's methods and plans.

Review: To all those of you who are confused by the radically different reviews on this book - one piece of advice: please understand that this material is very damaging to satan's kingdom and he will do everything within his power to keep you from reading it. This is why he has tried to discredit the author, why you will find so many false reviews and why anyone who reads the book will be attacked [ there is a clear warning about this at the very beginning of the book ]. Please do not be deceived, but also beware: this material is for the TRUE Christian who has a mature and solid faith.

Review: I can't really give this book an accurate star star rating because although alot of the information in the book sounds far fetched Dr.Brown is able to back up an impressive amount with scripture. My suggestion is if you read this book don't stop there. Research the author and her sources.

Review: If I could give this book a -10 star rating, I would. I bought it because there is supposed to be an urban legend based upon it, one that says satan gets so angry about the supposed 'information' in the book that strange things start happening in the home and life of the reader. The result is supposed to be that you don't finish reading the book. That's probably the only true thing I've heard about it - I couldn't finish it, but not for supernatural reasons.

It's poorly written for one thing, and is loaded with cruddy punctuation and misspelled words. If the author is a former doctor, shouldn't she know how to spell a simple word like 'breathe' (a word she repeatedly left the last letter out of)? The grammar and writing style are ridiculous as well, giving the impression that the author feels she had to dumb it down so that everyone else would get it. The tone of the text is insulting.

However, if the style and grammar rate a 9 out of ten on the reekometer, the storyline itself measures approximately 105. The author seems to have been cashing in on the SRA hoax of the early and mid eighties, but knows about this much <----> about either satanism or witchcraft.

For instance, satanism doesn't actually deify satan, according to Anton LaVey's book "The Satanic Bible", satan is the figure chosen to focus upon because he represents the exact polar opposite of all things taught and believed by christians. Satanism is actually indulgence and worship of the self. Also, in that same book LaVey forbids the harm of children and animals during ritual. They may be present because their energy is strong and pure, but they must not be harmed, yet the author claims that ritual sacrifice of children goes on all the time.

The author also seems to have no real grasp of the theology behind pagan beliefs, either, or she would know that satanism and pagan religions are two completely different things. Satanism focuses on the self, while pagan religions are both goddess and nature based, with an emphasis on positive energy and one one law: HARM NONE.

Not 'murder innocent people and drink babies' blood and launch a supernatural sneak attack on your enemy that nearly kills him/her.' HARM NONE.

All that aside, the BS factor of this book is off the charts. Not only does the author want us to believe that there are satanic cults manipulating us in our own churches and that they run hospitals and skin and eat babies, she also wants the reader to believe that her friend Elaine has had sex with satan and with demons, was punished for disobedience to satan four times by being afflicted with cancer, and that when witches have important meetings werewolves show up to protect them.

Yes. Werewolves.

This book is insulting to the collective intelligence of all who read it, paranoid, ridiculous and poorly written.

Do yourself a favor and don't bother.

Review: A good Christian friend gave me this book telling me it was very good and agreed I would read it. I got about half way through when I finally decided to do some research on the author. I wouldn't go as far as some to say that the book is demonic in nature (though I do believe such powers exist and are at work in the world), but what I found out definently throws the author's credibility into serious question. I urge you to do a little research and find out just what this Rebecca Brown and her friend Elain are actually like. I put the pieces together, and I realized someone is making a pretty penny off readers quick to trust anything labled as "christian literature". My advice as one Chrisitian to many: if you're curious about the subject of this book, examine yourself, because Satan loves to use curiosity to lead believers and nonbelievers down paths that are best left untraveled. This questionable acount of two women's battles with satan is not going to bring any unwholesome presence upon you or your home for reading it, but curiosity in satan, even with the right motives, can be a danerous thing. but please, even if you think I'm full of it, go research the author for yourself.

Review: As a Christian who has been through several battles of faith, I would HIGHLY recommend Rebecca's book. This book gives explicit details on Satan's activities here in the US and beyond, and ultimately discribes the hoplessness of living for Satan. Everyone who professes Christ as their Lord and Saviour should have this book! In my life, Rebecca's books (aside from this one--the first in this series), has helped in my relationship with Father God to grow and flourish beyond boudaries that I have ever known. As for married couples and families as well, my wife and I have grown in our relationship as we have chosen to serve the Lord with our hearts (Deuteronomy 6:5, Joshua 1:8).

Brothers and Sisters, take your lives back! don't let Satan rule you and your family, or our church! We must be about working for the Lord in our lives So "He may set the captives FREE!!!!"
