Summary: Eye opening
Review: This book really opened my eyes to the spiritual world we cannot see. It is very sensational and written in vivid style. It is also provides an inside view of a forbidden and secretive subject. However, as a former journalist the book left many unanswered questions. I was trained to always provide proper attribution and factual background. While I believe the book, its lack of names, dates, places, etc. leaves it open to criticism from skeptics. Perhaps Dr. Brown will provide such documentation in future works. I would very much like to know more, as I am now in full time Christian ministry and see spiritual warfare every day.

Summary: excellent book
Review: I went to Bible college and I didn't hear about this book until 3 months after I left. I wasn't living my life for God like I knew I should be, but when I read this book, it really opened my eyes to the spiritual warfare that is so real especially now in the end times. Regardless of what people believe about the author or this book, I believe that this book is fact. It has many Bible scriptures which back up her teachings. I truly believe that if there's something that's not true in this book, God would reveal it to the person reading it regardless of who they are(if you pray and seek God daily.) I believe we all need to be warriors for God especially since we're living in the last days. This book will help you realize how the enemy works.

Summary: I honestly thought this was an excellent book.
Review: This was a very interesting book to read. If you believe God has given you a desire for spiritual warfare, I highly recommend it. Rebecca's insight for warfare had to have come directly from God. Keep up the good work Rebecca!

Summary: Thrilling, unbelievable, depressing or whatever - it's Truth
Review: This book was important to me because of two reasons: First, it describes a spiritual reality wich every true christian today needs to be aware of. Second, it stresses the point of putting our lives in the Hands of God. Completely.

Whether the stories describing this spiritual battles are true or false, as well as whether the message regarding the importance of giving up our lives to Jesus is true or false, is obviously a matter of doubt. However, I have no more any doubt in either. I can understand that non-christians have doubts, but every true christian who already believes that Jesus is risen, has no sensible reason not to believe in this. After all it does not contradict, as far as I can see, in any matter what we can find in the Bible.

Regarding the spiritual reality [note the word 'reality'] that this book describes, the significance of it can never be under-estimated. As a reality, christians need to be reminded of it over and over again, because Satan wants to make us "fall asleep" so that he can do his evil work without disturbance.

Regarding the message that we must deside to give our own lives, our own "selves" up to Jesus, I found it very hard to handle, but I found it true. Brown does not only urge us to do this, to take our salvation as seriously as it deserves, she also tells us what consequences it will have - Satan becomes our enemy more strongly than ever before. This is a truth that must be told, and I am grateful to her that she does it so well.

I give this book 5 stars, not because it is thrilling (sometimes it is, but sometimes it's boring or even depressing), not because it is perfect, not because it prooves what it claims (spiritual matters can only get its proofs in a spiritual way), but because it emphasizes the fact that THIS IS REALITY - no matter what you believe. No matter how unbelievable or depressing, it is true.

Focus on Jesus - defeat Satan

Summary: Make an investigation
Review: Instead of writing the typical "this was the wirst %$&*schizophreniac lunatic" or "Our Great Lord Jesus Christ shows you what is true" thing, I'll try to make a fair review of this book. It's said to be non-fiction, which calls for an investigation, but let me review the contents first. The book could be said to consist of two parts, the first one depicting the experiences of Elaine, a woman rising in the grades of a satanist association, whereas the other part is a manual of sorts for christians, describing the principles of so-called "spiritual warfare", as well as a theory of the occult. Now if it was just for the first part, I would give this book five stars. Elaines story is filled with demons, forces, relationships and has a conspiracy theory on top as well. I read this part without taking a break, finding it great as fiction, but then something happens with the book. The second part is, if I be allowed to be a bit sarcastic, a bit like the New Testament being pasted on top of the Old Testament to form the bible. The second part could have been shortened a lot, still allowing the author to come up to the point. Christians, as well as chinese communists, have the bad habit of believing that long chunks of text is nectar for the spirit. Now all these books should be checked in the same way, no matter if they are New Age-books about "From Outer Space"-conspiracies or Satanist conspiracies, that is to say that if there are facts that could be checked, they should be checked. Otherwise we just have the opinion of believing or not, which may be just great for atheists or christians, but for me seems like an arbitrary choice of truth. Theoretically, things like this could have happened, but the question is if they really have or not. Every New Age field can be checked, and the usual result shows 95% bogus and 5% truth. And the results are often quite different from what both sides expect. I suspect this is the case even in this case (sic!). So that is both the review of my book and a call for investigation. If any of the two sides are interested in the truth (I have my doubts) they should make research. Maybe they will find out that drugs, paranoia and psychological disorder is the explanation, but there may be another answer. And always remember, it may be the case that both stands are false, so that something different altogether is the truth behind the matter. These things are very difficult to understand and we shouldn't just arbitrarily take a stand for and against.

Summary: This is a must-read, tell-all book! Fascinating.
Review: Of all the Christian books that I own, this one, and the sequel "Prepare for War", were real eye-openers. Rebecca Brown and "Elaine" are true living witnesses and soldiers for Christ. Like them, we must toughen up spiritually and physically for spiritual warfare, led by the Holy Spirit.

Summary: Liberating
Review: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. This book revealed so many spiritual truths concerning strongholds and Demon possession. And the power of God and His infinate Mercy to those he created. Because of the courage to write an outstanding book I was set free in many areas my life. For this I am Grateful.

Summary: From one who understands
Review: This book was fascinating and useful in many ways but one way most of all, even for the skeptics is that if it does nothing else for you,it will make you think and hopefully search for answers as to it's truth.I personally was involved many years ago in some of the things Elaine was involved in and so was a member of my family, as well as some friends and what she says is the unsugarcoated truth. When I became so fearful [not because of pressure from any christian person, denomination or group of any kind in any way] and had many presences around me always, that I could sense the malevolence and evil intent, had continuous night terrors and nightmares and with this the veil fell from my eyesabout the things I was involved in.It took 6 yrs to finally stop being harrassed.I am now free through JESUS CHRIST.It was a fight for my soul and JESUS won as did I.Remember satans greatest weapon is disinformation that he even exists, except as some exostential force in nature. He hates all mankind, including his followers.Would you give your chidren everything they want even if it would harm them now or later? Of course not,if you love them!Such is the nature of GOD.This book however you may use it, is relevant because of its rawness and it is not a feelgood do what you want biography. No matter what you believe one day all will confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD TO THE GLORY OF GOD,WETHER THEY WANT TO OR NOT.You do not have to agree with all of this book, but that does not diminish it's value, especially to those with occultic experiences or backgrounds who are as I was, searching for a way out.comments his@oswego.net Jesus LOVESYOU!!!

Summary: A book worth a 10-star rating!
Review: This book is probably the best book I've ever owned. It does not only tell true stories of what's happening in this world, but it also teaches us right attitudes when we come face to face with Satan, who is very active especially in these last days. This is a must-read book! Your life will never be the same again after reading this amazing book!

Summary: Good but missing an important element
Review: Rebecca is very knowledgeable scripturally and has much wisdom, but one important one she overlooks is Eph. 5:12 'For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.' The heavy details in this book can really damage an innocent mind. I wish she had found a way to relate her experiences and wisdom without the graphic detail that brings a heaviness to one's spirit that is hard to shake.
