Rating: Summary: INSTRUCTION ABOUT HUMILITY Review: "At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" And Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me." THE HOLY BIBLE Matthew 18:1-5.______________________________________________________________________________ Wow! JESUS WANTS ALL OF ME is something like I would want to write for kids! It is perfect--size, length of words, illustrations, layout, and concluded with a short verse from HOLY scripture! You and your child will love this! My daughter is crazy over it! She loves to carry it around with her and loves me to read it to her! We must instill in the hearts of our children the love of God "which passes all understanding" NOW. There is no time to waste. Let's fulfill our responsibilities as parents: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." THE HOLY BIBLE Proverbs 22:6. JESUS WANTS ALL OF ME is a great aid for parents to do just that! ___________________________________________________________________________________ Here is a sample; it is bookmarked in my copy: (Hmmmmm...) "SHARE! God doesn't care how good I act on the outside. He doesn't care how many nice things I have. He just wants me to be like Jesus. He doesn't want me to keep my life closed up like a bottle with the top on. He wants me to take the top off and pour myself out. He wants me to share myself." [pretty picture of grapes and a glass of wine/grape juice.] "He who believes in me...out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." SO BEAUTIFUL--BUY THIS BOOK TODAY!

Rating: Summary: Wonderful book for everyone Review: Even tho abridged, this book is still about 300 pages too long. What 4 to 8 year old do you know that can sit through a 400 page book, let alone a book about religion! Now don't get me wrong Phil, I know this is your cash cow. After all, what moral-minded parent wouldn't buy this book for their child? But really, next time try writing something with a few less illustrations and a few more polysyllabic words. Instead of making money off Jesus and his religion, take a chance on something a little less cookie cutter. Trust me -- that's what Jesus really wants.

Rating: Summary: You'll LOVE this book! :) Review: I was so excited to find this adorable book! :) It's so precious. My 4 1/2 yr. old just LOVES it. She gets to read each day about another Bible lesson. Each has a great picture and Bible Verse too. I've been telling alot of people about this book lately. I just love knowing my little ones are gonna have a Daily Devotional for Kids that they can learn so much Biblical values and morals...and how important it is to have Jesus in their heart and to live for Him. :) What a blessing! Enjoy yours too. God bless. :) Also recommended: -The Beginners Bible Bible Bedtime Stories -The Beginners Bible Timeless Children's Stories -Just In Case You Ever Wonder -Precious Moments Bible/NKJV -Seaside Bible for children
Rating: Summary: excellent for toddler / prechoolers Review: I wasn't going to write a review but I couldn't help notice someone gave it a really bad review stating that it had to many pictures and pages. Well it's a DAILY DEVOTIONAL BIBLE just as it says on the cover. Its wonderful for those parents who want to start leading their children to GOD as soon as possible, a little bit each day. It has easy to understand text, short like my son's attention span too. This way he gets the story before he wonders off to his toy cars. Plus it has plenty of pictures which appeal to small children who learn by seeing![...]

Rating: Summary: If you want a meaningless devotional time, buy this Review: Maybe that was a little too harsh. But I started using this book with my son a couple of weeks ago. I am always looking for good devotional books, and when I saw this had some good reviews and had enough material for a year, I decided to give it a try. It is short all right -- maybe three or four sentences on each page. And my son always wants to know the story about the picture. But there is no story about the picture, because what is on the page doesn't relate. When finding devotional material, I want something that will hold my son's interest while teaching him Biblical concepts. Because there is no story, it doesn't really hold his interest, and the content is so simplified that it is basically meaningless. After reading it, I often don't see anything we could possibly discuss! If you want to have an empty ritual every day that you call "devotions," this may be a great book for you and your child to use. But if you want something that will both interest and teach your child, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
