Summary: Excellent Bible - shame about the binding!
Review: When I found out that Kirkbride are no longer making the black text version of the Thompson Chain-Reference Bible, I bought two copies (I beleive that the whole Word is inspired by God, and that to mark the words of Christ in red is to detract from the importance of other scripture). I love the chain reference system as it consists of mainly links to related scripture, rather than loads of opinions and theories thought up by men who think they know more than God. This is an excellent Bible, and the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is the binding, which I think is among the poorest I have ever seen on an expensive Bible - when you first receive it new, you can see where it is going to start coming apart in time, and that is not a good sign when brand new!! So handle with care!
