Rating: Summary: ~Recapturing the Magic of Life's Goodness~ Review: After wearing out my copy of "Illuminata", I thought it was time to check out Marianne's latest discoveries. Marianne puts down in words the way we all feel in our hearts when our mind is still, which these days is not very often. She reminds us there is joy out there if only we take the time to find it. I learned from Illuminata and again in this book that carrying around resentment was only a burden to myself and to forgive the wrongs of other's was a blessing for me! I know what she means about recapturing the magic, as I too felt that when I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, the same way I felt when I read the Wizard of Oz as a child. There are miracles all around us. As adults we mindlessly make our way through the ugly mazes we travel every day but wouldn't it be nice to look at our journey in a more positive and loving way? How lucky we are that Marianne feels these things in her heart and soul and shares them with those of us too busy doing life to explore those sensations ourselves and remind us to look at things differently. What a gift this truly is. God Bless Marianne Williamson and all of God's prescious creatures great and small.
Rating: Summary: Comforting, life-enriching Review: Another winner by Marianne Williamson. This book is about the themes of having hope (and maintaining it), creating happiness and forgiving the hurts of the past. Of course, these are not new themes, especially from Marianne Williamson, but it's always so soothing and renewing to read her words.
Lightly touching on "A Course in Miracles," Williamson shows how we can reframe our view of the universe and how we fit in it. She's right on about how many of us start our day--getting wrapped up in hectic news and things outside of us. A good day, and a good life, starts from within.
I always appreciate references to spiritual texts of all faiths, but this book also used Cinderella and Snow White as metaphors, which I found elementary and perhaps even forced. Also, the use of techniques being called "wands" (as in magic wands) was strange and not really necessary.
Rating: Summary: Authentically Uplifting!!!! Review: Deep mystical and oh so practical. Never mind coffee, pick this book up to stir your spirit and return you to your right mind. A pocket book of sorts.....let just call it "divine coffee".
Rating: Summary: Marianne Williamson at her best! Review: Everyday Grace is an incredible book--quintessential Marianne Williamson. If you are looking for help on your own path toward a deeper presence of the Divine then you will benefit from the ideas and reflections shared by Marianne in this work. There is a better way to live-and it is living in Love, with grace, everyday.
Rating: Summary: She is a gift of grace Review: Everytime I think the world gets too much for me to take this writer comes out with something better and better. She always pulls me up by the bootstraps. Even better, she reminds me not to hate or be angry but that love will heal. I always look to her tapes and books when I need uplifted. This one, ILLUMINATA and A WOMAN"S WORTH are simply the best. Two thumbs up for writing positively about the Harry Potter books and seeing them for what they are. She is grace herself.
Rating: Summary: Everyday Grace is for Everyone Review: I am a new reader to Ms. Williamson so I am not familiar with her other work. I have often heard in certain circles that she is dubbed a "mystical, spiritual activist." What I like about this book is that she avoids flowery, idealistic, perceptions and Ms. Williamson gives the reader insight into from the everyday mundane to hectic times, occurrences and realistic situations in which the Glory of God can be found. Anyone can pick up the book and get something out of it, the beauty in this work it that anyone regardless of their spiritual or religious level can relate to it. One of the few works that I will refer to time and time again for inspiration and guidance. Having read this work I can clearly see that there are certain universal laws that we (as a human race) must be attuned too if we are to evolve as human beings. True Heaven on Earth is here and believe it or not, the journey starts from within.

Rating: Summary: honest Review: I really liked this book. I am an avid reader and would recommend adding this book to your must read list. Another book that really impressed me is Psychic Gifts in the Christian Life - Tools to Connect, by Tiffany Snow, pub. 2003. In this time of increasing awareness for the need to help our relationships, workplace, family, self and environment, these two books are at the forefront of giving us the tools to do so - not only by positive reinforcements, but in the case of "Psychic Gifts," showing we have a Divine birthright to access the supernatural in our lives, and how to tap into that. I encourage you to Keep Reading, apply what you learn, and be a force for good in your part of the world.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: I was a small bit apprehensive when I began this read as I was not sure what I would find written on the pages of this work. However from the first chapter I was drawn into what this author had to say.
Everyday Grace is a Spiritual writing, giving insight that the author has learned into the world of the supernatural. Now don't get turned off here, it is not spooky or in anyway connected with the darkside, but rather a gentle guide back to our roots with our Heavenly Father.
I loved the way Ms. Williamson explains how we have forgotten where we came from, and the resources we have within to help us on our lives journey. Excellent. I believe we all need a reminder of that.
All in all I have to highly recommend this book. It was enlightening and like a breath of fresh air that held a tender reminder that with a few changes our life could spawn miracles for ourselves and others.
