Summary: A Book that Humbled Me
Review: This book gave me so much insight that it was overwhelming! I had to put it down from time to time while reading it. This book impacted me so much that I wrote a 19 page study guide of it so that I could continue to look back on what I learned. Brokenness like that is extremely uncomfortable, but absolutely essential for the believer to have intimacy with the Father! I had no idea of the effect I had on my wife. She had her own issues, but if I'd known then what I know now, I don't think she would have followed her flesh into adultery and divorced me. I'm mentoring a couple of young guys at my church and using the book as one of the tools we're using. I thank God for Ken Nair! God has brought me a woman, and I'm having her read the book so she'll know what I've learned and as a point of accountability.

Summary: The Key To Healthy Marriages
Review: This book will change the world. I have purchased and given away countless copies. Like many other Christian women, I was totally disillusioned with the way the church handles the relationship between man and wife. I knew in my heart that something was awry. I lacked the missing piece of the puzzle. This book is absolutely scripturally sound. It is amazing that we truly do have scales on our eyes...we read words in the Bible and never truly understand them. Now I can see that God's plan for marriage is so beautiful, it benefits and lends true self esteem to both parties. The enmity between Satan and the woman is totally necessary for the Spiritual growth of the man. Woman is the Revealer. Read this book and see if your world isn't totally rocked. You will want to spread the Good News too!!

Summary: The real marriage battle--our flesh.
Review: This is a tremendous book and I would go so far as to say that the Lord really speaks through Ken. He dives into what marriage is really about and how absolutely vital women are to men within that bond. Ken also brings to reality who the real enemy is within our marriages... and big surprise, it's not our wives! This book is both a tremendous blessing and a hard teaching. It confronts you head-on and makes you reconsider what relationships and marriage are about. It's an easy read(difficulty-wise), but it may very well blow you away and make you angry. It will show you personally that you--in and of yourself--cannot have a marriage the way a marriage was meant to be... and here is where the challenge becomes manifest. This book, as the other reviewer said, will change the way you think about and see women.

Review: This is like no other book! Most books just cover that men and women are different, but this book goes further and talks aboutwhat there is to learn from these differences. It is practical for men, and goes straight to the heart of a woman. It is written in easy to read language, and offers practical application. As written by a man, it proves that women are not as mysterious as some think.

Summary: Only For The Brave
Review: This is the most powerful, challenging, and painful book on Christian marriage I have ever read. It's Bible-based and laced with true (and often gut-wrenching) stories of couples that had once thrown in the towel who were able to put it all back together. Who would have thought such a basic concept, "Love your wife as Christ loved the Church," could have been so misapplied and so ignored for so long - and in so many marriages! Men should only choose this title if they are courageously interested in putting away their own desires and becoming what God - and their wives - have been asking for. It hurts, and for all the right reasons! Ouch!

Review: Whether you are thinking about getting married, currently happily married or going through marital hardship, you must read this book. I have read many a Christian marriage book in my day, but came away disappointed in the pop psychology cloaked in Biblical teaching that fills so much of the Christian bookstore shelves. Frankly, I had become highly cynical of the pat answers and spiritualized Christianese that I have endured far too many times. And along came this book during what is a very trying time in my own marital relationship. It is challenging me to the core to be a real man that acts the way Christ would to my wife. This book will strike at the core of who you need to be in your marriage. It may tick you off because inside, you will know that what Nair is saying is right, but you have not been Christlike to your wife in various ways. Believe me, if you live by its advice (which is purely Biblical without being trite), your marriage will only benefit. You will have to gulp down your pride to learn what it is like to be a real husband, despite what our messed up culture is shouting at you daily. If you want to do your wife and yourself a great favor, you will buy this book now. Don't think about it, don't waffle over it, just do it. You will be glad you did.

Summary: Excellent book!! It points you towards biblical truth.
Review: Words can not express how thankful my husband and I are to have been handed this book in counseling. We had a divorce date set and were a couple of months out when our Pastor suggested my husband read this book. It became a valuable tool. No, more than that, it radically opened my husband's eyes and heart to a whole new way of thinking and since it is totally in line with God's word, it pointed us in the direction of truth. Not only would we totally endorse the information and its value to anyone's marriage, but we are diligently seeking the author to find out how my husband might attend a seminar in order to share this information with other men/women at our church/in our area. Again, we thank the Lord for healing us and restoring our marriage relationship; this book was used majorly in this process and we are grateful beyond words.
