Summary: A Must Read for Graduates
Review: This book gives advise on how to succeed honorably, what pitfalls lay ahead, and how to avoid them. Readers are challenged to use their power and influence, at any level, to advance the gospel without the notion of creating a Theocracy. As a parent this will be required during my childrens' high school years. While this book is ideal for the high school graduate/college freshman, I found myself making notes for things I need to change. If reading about areas in your life where you need to improve offends or frightens you, don't pick up this book. In But Not Of is hard hitting and demands a response. You cannot read it and remain on the sidelines.

Summary: In, But Not Of
Review: This book is fast reading and right on target with hints for the youth of today who will be the leaders of tomorrow. I have had over 40 foster children coma and go. I always give them an introduction to church and see that they have a Bible when they move along. From now on I will include In, But Not Of, along with the Bible.

Summary: Advice I wish I'd had when I was younger
Review: This is a pretty good book about how to succeed in life, and to do so in a classy way. Yes, it has a Christian bent. However, that's not bad. This book demostrates that you can walk the power corridors of Washington, D.C. without becoming a spineless, waffling worm. It also shows you can be a Christian without turning people away from Christ, as "Christians" often do. I read this book at the age of 35. I wish it had been available when I was 25!
