Review: "Grace for the Moment" was given to me by one of my best friends after having several surgeries. It was my introduction to Max Lucado's work. It provides daily devotionals derived from many of Lucado's books. Even if I miss a day, I have to go back. I just can't miss a page. Since then, I have purchased many of his other books. I haven't been disappointed yet. If you want to feel closer to God in a modern sort of way, seek Max Lucado.

Review: A wondeful devotional guide by a man who knows where the Lord lives. This book was a gift from my sister Jan which I treasure dearly. I go to this book frequently when I need reassurance or when I'm down in the doldrums. I go to this book to understand my Heavenly Father's will for my life. Max Lucado makes difficult very simple in his writing and it takes a very talented man to make that work. May God continue to bless you Max, and your work of course.

One can read a page and get a glimpse of God's wonderful grace but lingering tends to bring forth a real blessing. Max has such a way with painting concepts into words and this book is no exception. This book has helped me in my walk with the Savior so many times, and I believe it can help you too.

Review: Grace for the Moment is an excellent companion piece to Max's, A Gift for All the People. It gives you a daily devotional about God's unending grace and some real thoughtful items to carry you through. I find this book particularly helpful when I'm feeling doubtful and troubled. The wisdom Max delivers here will make you feel better about yourself, no matter what your current situation is. This book is also a terrific companion piece to Max's, A Gift for All the People. Either book is a terrific introduction to Max Lucado's warm, caring, writing style. Other Christian writers either challenge your faith intellectually, challenge your long standing beliefs, or want to thump you with their Biblical wisdom. Max Lucado makes you FEEL your faith and the love of GOD with your Heart. Thanks again Max for another thoughful little gem. Thanks to my wife for buying this lasting gift also.

Summary: Keeping it simple
Review: I am a rather new Max Lucado fan but have already given 3 of these books as gifts. Lucado just has a way of making simple, non-judgemental sense out of the Bible and its teachings. As one who takes things TOO literally, I often never found the true meaning behind lots of Bible readings. Thanks, Max, for bridging the gap for me.

Review: I find that this book has great inspirational passages for each day. I find that the passages in this book can jump start your day and they leave you thinking all day about them and make you feel good. I got this as a gift and found to be a great gift from the person that gave it to me.
