Rating: Summary: Soul searching, inspiring and food for thought Review: I have been thinking about the book, Left Behind, since I finished it last night. It really grabbed hold of my thoughts of my on salvation, witnessing and my wanting to be in Heaven. It is difficult here on earth now, yet some of what I have read has inspired me to want to tell others to get ready for Christ's coming, especially family and friends, because of what is ahead. Thank you for this book, can't wait to read more.......
Rating: Summary: A must read! Review: An inspiring book! It is a quick-read book, that makes you thirst for more. The book quickly grabs your attention, just like the first in the series! At times, this book sent shivers up my spine. God bless!
Rating: Summary: ************Please look below. Review: This book is amazing. It offers a realistic plot and I was more than captivated by it. I can see that the plot has leaned a small bit towards romance, but I think it's great! As for the critics who have said Buck should have prayed to God when trying to decide to take the job or not: true, but I think him thinking of Chloe is fine. Why? Because, as most of the critics have not noticed, Buck believes that GOD sent him thoughts of Chloe. Have we forgotten that God works in mysterious ways? This book was wonderful and I hope the critics will rethink their harsh remarks.
Rating: Summary: A must read after the first. Review: I loved the firts book in the Left Behind series and enjoyed this one too. I thought the authors did a good job relating their message without being too preachy. However, I thought it was downright silly for the authors to make Buck, a 30 year old man and world traveler, a virgin. He was too busy to ever get around to it?!! Other than this bit of corny play, the book was great. It also made me seriously think about my own life. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Rating: Summary: The Story Continues... Review: This book picks up where the last one left off. At the time of writing this review it's only been two days since I started reading this book and I'm already half way through. I read over 100 pages in ONE sitting. But already this saga has gotten even better (how that's possible I don't know). Nicolae has become even more transparent to us readers and Rayford's reaction to Buck and Chloe is absolutely HILARIOUS! You'll have to read the book to know what I'm talking about. I'm buying the third one as soon as possible! (patientely awaiting the fourth)
Rating: Summary: EXCLLENT BOOK Review: This continuing drama really makes you think "Will you be Left Behind in the 7 yr. time period?"
Rating: Summary: GREAT Continuing Saga! Review: Picking up where Left Behind left off, The Tribulation Force carries its own weight in suspense and action. Here is where a small band of believers find themselves in the middle of extreme circumstances they cannot control, but could have avoided. All pretenses are down. Only the things that really matter seem to surface. Join the "Force" on a journey you will never forget. See the world from a Biblical perspective and through the eyes of Truth. This story leaves off just as the worst part of the Great Tribulation begins...
Rating: Summary: More terrifying than Left Behind! Review: Terrific sequel to Left Behind, an introduction for many to the Rapture of Christ's Church in I Corinthians 15:51-57. The only criticism I feel compelled to offer is Rayford marrying Amanda. If one accepts a literal interpretation of the rapture in Corinthians, and the drama is predicated on this, then technically, Irene, Rayford's first wife, is not dead--she was "transformed." Therefore, could one argue that Rayford is guilty of having an adulterous relationship with Amanda, his new wife? Just a thought. I was somewhat disturbed by the rapid marriage (just two years from Irene's disappearance). A response from a reviewer more scripturally grounded would be appreciated.
Rating: Summary: The books in this series SCREAM to be read! Review: In a world where the 'norm' is moving more towards abnormality, these books could not have been more timely. All the books in this series are spiritually moving and edge-of-your-seat exciting. No other text, except the inspired Word of God, has moved me like these books. There is nothing coincidental about the reading of these books in my life and the lives of other readers. Read these books and DON'T BE LEFT BEHIND!
Rating: Summary: A great, captivating book. Review: I believe that this was a brilliant way to portray the coming of christ, however thier could be a little more emphasis on what the tribulation force is doing to prepare themselves for the forthcoming judgements. The tribulation force seems to be a little too soft. They also seem like they're just talk an no action. Wether it's preaching to crowds or talking to their closest friends.
