Summary: The best book I've read about this topic!
Review: This is a wonderful book. As soon as I got into it, I realized there were about 6 other people I wanted to read it,too. The best part is the way Josh Harris comes across as being totally normal. He has the same temptations as everyone else. He is not holier-than-thou and his down-to-earth way of writing really gets the point across. As a young adult, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is serious about keeping himself for his or her future partner. It is a book that really makes sense, and since dating obviously isn't helping to eventually build stronger families, this is an idea that really should be considered. A must read for anyone. It is excellent!

Summary: The most well argued book against dating from man's view.
Review: A must read for all men and women seeking something better than the "game". I was prayerfully considering giving up dating before reading this book. I think this book was the answer to my prayers.

Summary: The best book I've seen on the subject
Review: I teach junior high students and see a lot of hurt that comes from the worlds idea of dating. I have teenage children of my own who will greatly benefit from Josh's sound advice. Because of his hard work, many young people will be spared the pain and heartache that comes from playing the "dating game". Sin is pleasurable, but only for a season--God's plan is perfect and will never bring us the harm that comes from worldly methods and values. Many thanks to Josh and others who have the courage to stand up for and live by Christian values and principles.

Summary: hilarious homo-erotic text on how to "love" Jesus
Review: I didn't read this book with any high expectations. I found the topic intriguing and figured I'd see what it was about. What turns up is a joyously hysterical book of nonesense, damning people who choose to date seriously, giving no honest reason within its context to ever meet a mate and settle down and marry and basically tells you all you need for companionship is The Lord. I won't criticize this concept, although it would be easy. It then goes into basically homo-erotic subtext explaining why God is the greatest lover until you can either laugh at the absurdity (as I did) or be repelled by the uncomfortable silliness of this obsessive rant. A despicable book. Not one star because I laughed and I laughed and I laughed and I laughed.

Summary: Joshua Harris is a young man who has shown God's character!
Review: If you want to get into the mind of a young, Christian man who is in love with the Lord Jesus, and would like to see how he views God's principles in comparison to the world's view of dating, this book is for you. You will want your teenager to read this book!!!!!

Summary: How to have emotional purity and keep attractions in line.
Review: Joshua Harris is a great writer. He keeps your attention throughout the whole book with humorous, insightful and serious comments about dating and it's flaws. But that's only half the book. He talks about using your singleness towards glorifying God and preparing for your life as an adult. A MUST READ for ANYONE!! Really! I can't say enough about this book. If you are skeptic, read it out of curiosity or to see what the other side thinks. This book also helps us , "waiting-not dating" types with help on telling people why we don;t date . Get this book TODAY!!

Summary: A must for any single Christians!
Review: I recently read this book after hearing about it at an Aquire the Fire teen rally. It is by far one of the most incredible books I have ever read. I absolutley could not put it down. Joshua's insight's were incredible. I recomend this book to anyone, single or dating, for a new, Godly perspective on dating and marraige.

Summary: Insightful and wise
Review: I began reading IKDG as a true skeptic. I didn't think that anything Joshua Harris would have to say could possibly apply to my life. I mean, come on. "I Kissed Dating Goodbye"? It sounded pretty arrogant and naive to me. By the third page, I was in tears. The wisdom in some of the things Josh writes kept touching me in ways that I hadn't experienced since I read Passion and Purity three years earlier. This book is insightful, applicable, and wise. I recommend it to anyone who's interested in getting the most out of life without so much confusion and heartache.

Summary: Absolutely a MUST READ for every single person of any age!
Review: This book is definitely going to challenge your perspective on romance and deepen your commitment to Christ! If you're single- READ this, regardless of your current viewpoint on the subject! If you're married - get it for your single friends, teenagers, your children.. I ordered my copy from Amazon, read it, and immediately got two more copies for friends. This is one that I'm going to read over again. Thank you Joshua Harris for this more-than-inspiring work!

Summary: Opened My Eyes!!!
Review: My parents gave this to me when I was thinking about this boy I liked. It was so good that I read this when I did it changed everything. I 'm so thankful that God gave us someone like Josh. I recomend this book to everyone!!.--Hannah B.
