Summary: What else can I say?
Review: Everyone in today's society needs to read this book, and then pass it on to future generations. Joshua, I congratulate you on your insights and this wonderfulness of a book!!

Summary: Good idea, but teenagish
Review: I commend Joshua Harris for writing this book. It is awesome for young people. But for the crowd that is in the collge+ segment, it's just too babyish. It's not too analytical, just lots of stories. Stories are good, but can't give the conviction that an analytical argument based on the Bible can. True, the author is young, so maybe a book written by him in several more years will be amazing.

Summary: Very sound advice, but not Scripture
Review: I love this book. It is a blessing to read the accounts and thoughts of someone who has had similar experiences to me. I do recommend it. However, this review will not tell you how God-inspired the book is, etc. You can read the hundreds of five stars for that. The reason I held back one star is that I know a lot a people who have read this book. Many of them take things a little too far to the extreme. They may refuse to go to get coffee with a friend of the opposite sex, even if they have been frineds for years, because of "connotations," or "tensions." Christ frees, not cages. This book offers sound advice and is a definite must read for all Christians, single or married. But it is not Scripture. Take Harris' ideas and let God trnasform your mind. Don't follow Harris blindy like modern day Buddha.

Summary: Leads people in the right direction, & that is a Good Thing
Review: In some respects I agree with the reviewer below who gave this book only two stars. I'm not going to diss it, however, because it leads Christians in the right direction out of the cesspit of the dating culture. It may go only 10 meters where I hope for people to travel 20 meters, but at least it's going in the right direction!

Mr. Harris's book I would describe as "Courtship lite" - the valuable contribution of his book is the principles he brings out, but he doesn't really go all the way with them or really outline the full courtship methodology. Places like Courtship Connection (courtshipconnection.com) give the fuller picture. Applying the principles fully will provide the best safeguards and benefits to young Christians.

So even though Josh doesn't lead people all the way to betrothal or courtship, I salute him for his effort and the good that it does accomplish with Christians taking their first baby steps from the dating dysfunction. Well done!

Summary: I'm so glad I read this book.
Review: I read this book coming out of a relationship I am not especially proud of. Josh Harris' words made me realize my mistakes and how I can prevent them from happening again. Harris made me realize my biggest mistake which was putting God second before a relationship. In a sense, reading this book has brought me closer to God and shown me a new way to walk in His light. Everyone should read this book. It's a real eye-opener!

Summary: AWESOME!!
Review: This was a great book. There's nothing else to say, really, but I never really understood why some of my friends decided not to date and the others were always obsessing over some new "hot" guy/girl. After reading this book, I understand now why the people didn't want to date until they were older and I feel the same way. I think that everyone should read this, ITS AN AWESOME BOOK!!!

Summary: A GREAT book!
Review: This is a great book and I reccommend it to anyone who is interested. I especially think it is perfect for kids 12-21, so parents: THIS IS A MUST READ FOR YOUR TEEN!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is an absolutely awsome book!
Review: My dad gave me this book becaus it summed up his opinion of dating. I, however, really wnated to date and was very hesitant to read it. With all the true-to-life illustrtions, stories, and good writing Joshua Harris does an awsome job of getting his point across. I was hooked. :) I am proud to say that I now plan to "court" and I highly recommend this book to EVERYONE! It really helped me realize that Christ has to be the center of every relationship too, guy-girl, and every other kind. I hope that if you have not read I Kissed Dating Goodbye yet, you will!

Summary: Awesome!
Review: I love this book. I was told to read it after a break-up. It has some great concepts. Since I've read it I've been less concerned with relationships and focused on friendships. The product is great! I've gotten closer to my guy friends, probably closer than if I was dating them. I got tired of borrowing the book, so I need to buy it!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is a must-read for any and all singles.
Review: This is a book that God is using in the lives of so many people. "Why shop if you can't buy?" In other words, why date and get emotionally involved when, as Christians, our purpose as singles is to glorify God totally? Why focus all your energy on only one person when that one person may not be the one God has chosen for you? This book is full of anecdotes and is very enjoyable and really makes a lot of sense.
