Review: This book is food for the soul! I have grown from it and have recommended this book to several people I talk with who go through periodic bouts with depression. The content of this books is based on the truth regarding good vs. evil in our own minds. Summarily, we must all recognize that God is our source of light (good thoughts) and all else is darkness (negative thinking) in the war that takes place in our minds. Therefore, we must maintain our focus [in and] on the light. Joyce Meyer is a truly annointed woman of God who is blessed with the gift of keeping the word of God simple and plain and realistic so that we can see that there really is 'life in the word!

Review: This book is one of the most powerful, life-changing books that I have ever read. I am "dissecting" it now for the second time this month to make sure that I didn't miss anything. My attitudes, moods and thoughts have changed dramatically. I've begun to think about what I'm thinking about and I'm not allowing Satan to use my brain for his playground. The great part about it is that it is also changing my husband, and two teenage sons, and they haven't even read it! Obviously it is my thoughts towards them and our circumstances that are changing and now our life together is much more peaceful and stress free! Thank you Joyce. I was working on a study format in order to teach this to the teenagers at church. I'm glad to see that the study guide will be coming out in June. I'll be waiting.

Review: This book is the ultimate in spiritual guidance! I could not overcome how powerful the message in this book was! Joyce Myer is a wonderful author with a gift from God. This book tells everything you could possibly wanna know about dealing with temptation and resisting your innerself. I reccomend this book to christians and nonchristians alike! It is a great book for improving the negative self-image we have of ourselves! I am looking forward to future books by Joyce Myer.

The author Mrs. Meyers uses reader friendly language along with personal life stories to illustrate how the devil tries and successed in keeping our minds and thoughts held captage or in bondage to wicked imaginations.Therefore keeping us (saints) from receiving the promises of God.The concept that we must change our mind set as well as our behavior in order to defeat the devil, was a revelation in itself. This book is great for all believers at all levels in their Christian walker. After reading this book, you will begin to recognize the devil's devices that he uses to keep our minds in bondage. No more mind binding spirits to hinder you from reaching your goals.

Review: This is a book that should be read and re-read because it will expose the enemy and his tactics through truth. "You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free." John 8:32. Joyce teaches in a simple basic easy to understand style and she doesn't give "her opinion" but rather the WORD of God. Her books are built on a foundation of scripture and all of the teaching points are supported through scripture. I can't think of a single Christian who couldn't learn something from this book.
