Summary: a "God-Inspired Awesome Book"ΓΏ
Review: This book is awesome. My husband and I were married in October of 1999. This book has helped me to see the tremendous power in praying for specific key areas of my husband's life. As I read the the first chapter, I realized that I was in need of prayer first. I read the chapters and pray the prayers everyday; and I plan to continue for the rest of our married lives. The words of the prayers are powerful and exact. I feel spiritual power just from saying the prayers. I thank God for blessing me with a wonderful husband and I know that God is going to continue blessing our marriage because of what I am implementing from this book. I recently shared some of the prayers with my husband and he was blessed. He was amazed to know that I am praying such in-depth prayers for him daily. The prayers really ministered to his heart.

Review: This book has helped me amazingly with my marriage. The prayers are very helpful especially if and when you don't know exactly what to pray for. I highly recommend this book the for all those who are married and going through some difficult time in there marriage. Live by His Words.

Summary: The Power of a Praying Wife
Review: This is a fantastic book that I began using to pray for my husband while we were still engaged. It presents specific areas of a man's life that can be prayed for (including some I never thought of) and includes related Scriptures for added power. In addition, the 30 chapters correlate perfectly with the days of the month. So I take a chapter a day in praying for my husband and start over again the next month. This book has added a depth and thoroughness to my prayers that wasn't there before. I now buy this book for every new bride I know!

Summary: I wish I had had this book 30 years ago!
Review: This book is one of the best compilations of Scriptures for every aspect of life. The Word is where the power is and as we pray these Scriptures over our husbands and even for ourselves, God can change our lives. It has been a great source of strength for me since I discovered the book in the early summer during a major crisis in our marriage. I have copied the Scriptures onto cards and use them to pray every day.

Review: Taking a look at the first chapter compels you to look inside yourself and consider how you treat your spouse and should make you seek a deeper walk with Christ. I encourage every wife to read this book and take your time and pray for your husband. Be encourage ladies. Christ is not dead and he will strength your relationship. Read the book:)))

Summary: The Gift of Hope
Review: Although I am not yet married, I believe the best thing to do for a "husband-to-be" is to show him the ultimate love language by praying. I have read this book 4 times, and I always gain new insight each time I flip through the pages. This book gave me new hope to a hopeless situation. I adapted "Change me Lord" to my life, and I am praying for specific items for the man in my life. Unfortunately he is not a christian as I am, but Stormie reminded me that with the power of God behind me, my boyfriend has a chance for eternal life. We are not able to be together at this time, but I am even more determined to lift him up to God in prayer. I don't understand why this had to happen, but it's our job to pray, and God's job to answer. I truly believe in my heart that we will happily be reunited again, and when that day comes I will know that God brought us together because of HIS will and not my own. I looked everywhere for a book that related to those of us who are not yet married, but are committed deeply to someone. I couldn't find anything, and then my mother gave me this book. She and her weekly bible study group were using it as a tool, and she thought that I might get some useful information from it. It has changed the way I pray forever. I appreciate how open and honest Stormie was about the trials in her own marriage. She opened my eyes to the power and the love Christ has for us. I highly recommend it to every woman who wants to build a lasting, loving, godly relationship. I look forward to reading more of her books! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Summary: Excellent!
Review: The book was a gift to me from a dear friend. My husband and I have always had a solid foundation just several issues of miscommunications and so on. I began reading the book and our lives are changing and we both or transforming into the couple that God wants us to be, we are so much happier now and our lives together are becoming better than I've ever imagined possible. This book is a must for all couples, it teaches you how to pray for your husband as well as yourself or anyone that is in need. My friends are all getting it for Christmas!

Summary: "Annointed Woman" with an "Annointed Revelation"
Review: Stormie Omartian relinquishes her reigns of "being in control" and allowed God to take control. I have read many books in my 10 years of marriage, but where was this book when I first got married. Had I read this then, I could have (hopefully) avoided some of the bruises and falls I have experienced. But, maybe during that time, I wasn't willing to listen to what GOD had to say to me. But, thanks to an "On Time" GOD, this book stared me in the face. This book is for women and men alike, it's not bashing anyone, it's accepting responsibility for "our role" in developing a healthy, christian marriage. Even though I've previously submitted my review, I felt compelled to send an additional review. I pray, that, every woman (especially since we are "emotional") run and get this book. It had so much of an impact in my life, because I was one who thought I had all the answers about marriage, i.e., what I wasn't going to do, and what I wasn't going to put up with. GOD definitely has a sense of humor. I have (since reading this book) surrendered -I'm still working on it (but not to become a doormat -- there's a difference) to what GOD wants me to do, not based upon what my husband does nor does not do. Because, in the end, we are all held accountable as individuals. GET THE BOOK!

Summary: An absolutely life-changing book
Review: Stormie must have been in my house. She said those things that I found hard to put into words. I had been harboring feelings of anger toward my husband because he wasn't who I thought he should be. She made me realize that he isn't to be who I think he should be, but who God would have him to be. I should pray that he gets into position to do God's will (not mine). I recommended this book to the women of our christian couples fellowship and lots of praise reports have resulted from both wives and their husbands. May Stormie continue to allow God to use her so mightily.

Summary: A Powerful tool for prayer
Review: This book has not only given me direction and guidance on how I can pray for my husband, it's given me so much more insight into "men" in general. There are so many areas of our husbands lives than need to be covered in prayer, and I believe this book covers most, if not all, of them. Even if your husband seems fine in some areas, you can be sure that there will be a period within his lifetime that he'll struggle with something that never seemed to be a problem before. Satan always attacks where we're not looking! This book is a timeless resource -- a keeper!
