Summary: These books saved my life.
Review: Can't say much more than that. I like the books from an entertainment standpoint: all of them are "page-turners". I think that I just started reading them at the right time in my life. By the time I finished "Tribulation Force" I was reading the gospel in conjunction with these books. By the time I finished "Soul Harvest" I was standing in front of the congregation at my local church, confessing my sins and pledging my faith to Jesus Christ. Of course, it won't have the same effect for everyone, but if you like to read good books and/or have interest in getting an introduction to the Christian faith, then get these books.

Summary: The best book in the world
Review: I saw these books in the store so one I day i desided I would get one so I did. When i read the first one i was hooked. I didn`t put it down for 2 days (I did only to eat and bathe). I`m only on the fourth but i`m bout to finish it up (i`m on 397). But the problem is my mom only bought the first four so i kinda have to slow up my reading. My favorite was the thrid. But the end of it was kinda ummmm "different" it ended at such suspense that i almost killed myself cause i left the fourth one at home i had forgotten to bring it to school. ...

Summary: The time to choose is NOW
Review: I recently purchased two sets(the first eight books-soft cover)of the Left Behind series. It was the first time in years that I didn't feel bored somewhere along the course of reading a book. I was so enthralled with the series that I couldn't and wouldn't stop reading until I'd read every book. At the end of 5 and 1/2 weeks, I was left wanting more.
Combining fiction with a modern interpretation of Revelations(a book in the Holy Bible), the reader is taken on a journey with the Tribulation Force(a core group of new believers)
in the time of the seven-year tribulation. A time of many challenges, suffering, devastation, false hopes, death and light at the end of the tunnel for some of the human race, in the time preceding the Second Coming of Christ.
Those who already believed are gone. Those Left Behind face the choice of giving themselves to Christ and being saved while suffering the consequences served by man through Satan, or following Satan and suffering the consequences served by God. The final battle between good and evil is taking shape. The time to choose is NOW.
This series offers story-telling at its finest. I felt a wide range of emotions through the well developed characters and story line. I felt sympathy and empathy with the characters as if they were real.
A great story of how things could be that can be appreciated by believers and non-believers alike. Well worth its weight in gold.

Summary: ASTONISHING
Review: It takes a lot to get me into a book. I read the first two pages of the first book and I was hooked. I'm not a real religious person, but this has got to be the most amazing book/series I've ever read. Once you start, you don't want to put the book down because you want to know what's going to happen next. Many times I couldn't remember what would happen between one reading and another in other books I read, but this one you cannot forget. These two gentlemen did a wonderful job and I hope they continue on with this series as well as come up with another one.

Summary: A Great Novel that Has Changed My Life
Review: When I heard of this book I couldn't wait to buy it. When I got it I couldn't put it down. The book was awesome and I will purchase the other series. Everyone needs to read this book, it will change their lives also. I also read another great book of this nature: "Revelations: The Years 2000" by Janet Markey. Both of these books are fantastic books to read!

Summary: WOW!!!
Review: This has to be the best christian fiction books I have ever read. I would recommend these books to anyone interested in a very good read...If you like these books you should get Revelation Unveiled. Which explains his views of the scriptures on the End times in great detail and in a non story format.

Summary: WOW!!!
Review: This has to be the best christian fiction books I have ever read. I would recommend these books to anyone interested in a very good read. I have had many sleepless nights with these books, even though the story slows down only slightly in 5-9, it is barly noticible to almost anyone who would read the books. The main reason that 5-9 are probably not the favorites of people is that they consentrate on smaller periods of time than the 1-4. The 9th book doesn't even cover a weeks period, but to me all of that is irrelivent. I can't wait for the rest of the books. If you like these books you should get Revelation Unveiled. Which explains his views of the scriptures on the End times in great detail and in a non story format.

Summary: Suspension of Disbelief
Review: I recently picked up the Left Behind series after waiting for a flight out of Phoenix Airport and noticing several people engrossed in one or another in the series. It's rare that I find a book that I would forego a night's sleep or a social activity for, but I've had three such nights in the last couple of weeks, voraciously devouring the adventures of the Tribulation Force.

As somebody who has usually been turned off to religious-based tomes, this series has completely blindsided me. In previous reviews, a concurrent theme is the "lack of realism" and "inaccuracies" in the series. You are all right, we don't know what exactly we are in for when Rapture hits. If not for the human ability for interpretation, we would be all of one religion, of a singular belief. Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins have at least explored a possibility in a well researched and HIGHLY entertaining fashion.

All the great authors, from Tolkein to Rowlings, from Hugo to Clancy, have taken some license, used their imaginations, to present us with brilliant works. If I want directions from point A to point B, I'll check a road atlas. If I am looking for religious insight, I will open the Bible. For a well-told story, I will forego at least one night's sleep a week to enjoy the further adventures of Rayford Steele.

Summary: Left Behind Series
Review: I found the first five volumns(five stars)to be most interesting and believable in terms of my Biblical understanding. However, the last three volumns were no where near the quality and appeal. The authors began reaching for a story line that just was not well thought out. I found myself finishing the series only to be "left behind" wondering how the remaining 2 years of the Tribulation period would play out with these characters. I have ordered volumn nine since I might as well see it through but I have to admit I have become dissapointed. I have ordered the Christ Clone Trilogy since the feedback has been so positive.
