Review: The book was very uplifting and helps you to view Jesus as a friend. I read this book after I lost my daughter. Jesse's description of the children in heaven brought me great peace and happiness for my daughter in her new home. This book would be a great gift for anyone who has ever lost a child including those who suffer guilt from an abortion. Jesse delivered his message from God just the way God knew he could!

Summary: This book is interesting and very easy to read.
Review: This book describes several Close Encounters of the God Kind until it leads up to Jesse's actual visit to the pearly gates. It is writtin in a very casual form, much like a friend would tell a story. I read the whole thing in one day because I became so interested. I belive him to be a very credible man of God. He backs everything up with scripture, and the book contains a spritual messasge as well. The book basically describes how, Jesse was taken up into heaven to recieve a message from God. He describes the actual city of heaven and surrounding paradise, as well as his conversations with several major bible characters. The main part of the book is his actual conversations with Jesus. This book is not extreme or outlandish. It is a very biblically sound. And in my opinion,is very real story about a trip to heaven. The parts about Jesus are very touching and really put life into perspective.

Review: This book is not just about Jesse's trip to heaven.(Although I have read and reread those pages). It is about how God wants to be a part of daily life with all of his children. Jesse's account of his experiences with God in everyday life, even when Jesse wanted nothing to do with God, shows us that God is loving, kind, and merciful. He wants us all to experience this eternal life. This book is a quick read. You will want to read it again. It is written in humility and reverence. All his experiences are biblically sound. I too eagerly await for this close encounter of the God Kind.

Review: This was an awesome book. I think Jesse Duplantis is a great teacher and man of God. I absolutely believe that he made this trip to heaven. There will be the naysayers, like the 2 reviewers from Texas on here, but who are they to say Jesse going to heaven is blasphemy? How do they figure this lunacy? They don't even know what they're talking about. It's a great read, and to anyone who isn't familiar with Jesse Duplantis, I highly recommend his sermons, books and tapes.

Review: Wheather Jesse DuPlantis went to Heaven or not is not for us to determine. It is however, an uplifting book and a refreshing look at why we are here and what we should be doing as children of God.Written in the first person, Jesse DuPlantis takes us through an adventure of a place only a few Patriarchs and Apostles have been - and lived to talk about it. I think any person reading this book would appreciate a good modern-day type of "vision from the Heavens" and learn what life is really about! (Praise God!)
