Review: This is an outstanding book. I began to read it in a book club that I am a member of (WINGS) and it has really changed my life. I have grown so much spirtually because of it. I encourage everyone to read "I SAY A PRAYER FOR ME".

Summary: I Say a Prayer for Me by Stanice Anderson
Review: This is one of the best books I've ever read because it is one of the most insightful readings of God's love for us that anyone could ever read. In writing to a friend, I actually quoted from this book. The format makes for extremely easy reading in that the chapters are short and they are all followed by brief captions or "gems of wisdom" the author wants to impart about that chapter. Then the caption is followed by a moving and heartfelt prayer relating to the subject matter of the chapter, ending in an appropriate scripture. I plan to use this book for reference material for any situation in my life. And since I will not be parting from my copy of the book, I have ordered five other copies to date for close friends and relatives whom I feel will greatly benefit from it. As I overheard one person say about this book, "It is a life-changing book". And it is! Thank you Stanice Anderson.

Review: This is one of the most enjoyable and exciting books I've ever
read. I was trying to read three at one time. I finally put the other two down and was about the business of checking out what sista gal had to say and WOW! It was a tear jerker, a motivator! I could identify with each and every word. I'd experience a lot of what she had experienced. It was painful but I needed to be reminded of where God brought me from and had done in my life. The scriptures that went along with the chapters were excellent! Stanice, you are a prime example of how and what God can do in our lives if we only allow him to be in control. You have motivated me to do something with my life! I am so proud of you!

Summary: An Inspirational Story
Review: This was a well-written book about one woman's life through the ups and downs of drug addiction. The author did a great job of giving us a mental picture of what was going on around her during her struggles, the characters were well defined and could easily be visualized.
In each chapter she deals with some low point in her life and how the situation was turned into a positive. The author ends the chapter with a prayer and words of encouragement. That's what makes this a powerful book. Reviewed by LadyCD

Summary: You will Rejoice!
Review: You'll journey with Stanice through her very difficult adolescence, her strong addiction to heroin, and the difficulties she faces and overcomes once she dedicates her life to Christ. You'll identify with each phase of her life, whether you've have been there or not. This is a very strong, gripping and emotional book. Stanice's testimony is sure to touch upon your own personal experiences, and each person's struggle to remain strong in faith. You'll truly see how horrible an addiction can be, yet rejoice once that addiction is taken away through faith, a love for self, and most importantly Stanice's strong desire to maintain a personal relationship with God! Deeply moving, and highly recommended!!
