Summary: Gods will for our life
Review: This book allows the reader to understand spiritually that nothing just happens in life. The testimony of Stanice's life gives us reason to believe that there is a purpose for everything we go through and if we can weather the storm, our life will stand as a testimony that with the help of God we can survive the horror that comes into our life. Stanice has given us a blue print of how God will step in when the world steps out and give us purpose. This book makes us aware that God can nail us to the cross and expose our life for the world to see and then use that exposure to heal our life and the lives of others. I recommend this book to anyone who feel as if they have nothing to live for. This book is for those who feel hopeless and feel they have no purpose for living. This book help people to find their self worth, and seek to use their life as a testiment to get the good out of something gone wrong. This book will give those of us who never thought of life being so ruthless, the opportunity to realize how blessed we are and be grateful to God for it. We will also be more forgiving for what we do not know about people we do not understand. Most importantly if this book can get into the hands of the young and dumb who are exposed to so much before they have a chance to see both sides of the story will have a real chance to say "NO" and know why they are saying no. This is a good handbook for parents who did the right thing by not getting involved in drugs to read the book and thereby open up dialog with their children on a subject they may know nothing about.

Summary: I Say A Prayer For Me is a must read!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This book hit home. It so much reminded me of 2 of my sisters. It was sad, familiar, funny and hopeful. Stanice's delivery of the written word is unique. I love the chapter when she was talking about a boss' mother joining the staff, "Bending over me with her index finger about two inches from my face", and after Stanice's response, she "parked her neck in neutral". I howled!!!!!!! Stanice, you are an inspiration to sistahs everywhere. And I believe there are a few books coming from our family!!!!!!! We'll be joining you at the top!

Summary: Inspiring!
Review: This book is a wonderful, uplifting story. A inspiring and informative read for anyone seeking to live their life for God, or be uplifted by a true story of triumph. Each chapter ends with a prayer and a scripture from the Bible. I was captivated by Stancie's ability to tell her story in a heartfelt, comfortable manner. I feel as though I personally know her after reading this book, and I am blessed to have had the experience!

Summary: Wow!
Review: This book is excellent. It takes you on a journey both of the writer and on a personal level. Even if you may not have dealt with the challenges of drug addiction everyone has had their lives touched by this tragedy in someway. At first you have difficulty relating if you have not had any exposure, but then a transformation occurs without you even realizing it. You start to relate her situations and challenges with personal ones that you may have experienced. I addition to that it is an amazing testiment of faith, strength and survival. It demonstrates to us all what can be done when we set our sights on God and survival. There were so many opportunitities for Stancie to fail, to be defeated or to die and yet to this day she lives to share her story. The book has some portions that are funny when you read them but then brings a certain sadness when you continue to realize as you read this was real. This was not a story, this was her life. The book is an easy read but one that should be read continuously over time. The format makes it flow because it is not written in chronological order of events and time. So it takes you to different places at different times. This is an amazing testiment to life and God. This book could actually be turned into a movie just like Antoine Fisher. Call Denzel!

Summary: A Living Testimony !
Review: This book is recommended for the Saved and the Un-saved! This story is a living testimony that God is an awesome, loving, compassionate God and that no matter where you are in your life, you can overcome and succeed. I found this book to be unlike any other, and the testimony to be so wonderful, because Stanice is not 15 or early 20's when the greatness turns her life around. Stanice Anderson is in her 30's and 40's when her life is turned around. Stanice is a victim of a dysfunctional family where love is not openly expressed, she is abused over the course of her life by her parents, the men she involves herself with and at the tender innocent age of 14, she is violated physically and then threatened into silence. She turns to drugs and her life is then spun into the disasters of addiction. Stanice is on the road to death, but even overdosing and actually flat lining, God spares her life and knows she is not ready for death and he lifts her up and out of the realms of death to straighten out her life. Stanice talks of the goodness and unconditional love of God, but she shows us the struggles that you face emotionally, physically, spiritually, when you are fighting to stay focused and away from your addiction, when you are trying to understand and forgive the loved ones in your life who have not been good or understanding your needs in your life. She leaves behind her son when she twirls into the world of drug abuse, now she has to learn all over again how to be a mother and put her childs needs before her wants. God is very apparent in Stanice's life and it is a good thing that God is real and his Word is unwavering, because this testimony is proof that God will never leave you nor forsake you. If you ever have been a victim of anything or have a loved one who is battling an addiction or if you feel that you have not accomplished what you should have in life at the age you are now, or just unsure of the Love God has for you, then I strongly recommend this book, it will show you in realism how God has a plan for each and everyones life and you have to just trust in him and he will turn it all around for you for your good. The bad in your life will be turned around for your good. This is a story with a prayer at each close and it is absolutely dynamic. Reading this story I feel like God has used Stanice Anderson to touch many lives and you will definitely get something out of it. For those who shy away from books that Promote Gods love because you think it is religious, trust me this is not religious and structural, this is Spiritual and Inspirational and a guide to getting your life where you want it to be. You will not be disappointed.

To the Author: Stanice Anderson, You have put a masterpiece in writing and thank you so much for sharing your life turmoils and also gratifying experiences with the public. You are Blessed and the pages in this book are proof.

Summary: A Delightful Read
Review: This book was "delicious". I couldn't put it down. I believe anyone who reads this book will find themselves in it somewhere. It is amusing at times and heartbreaking at others but overwhelmingly it is a book of hope. Anderson's vivid description of events takes the reader to the particular place and time she is illuminating. The author also chose a unique format for the book which adds to the charm of this peice. I will be purchasing an additional copy of this book for a friend and look forward to the next title from this author!

Summary: Blessed beyond words
Review: This book was recommended by my girlfriend and it is one of the BEST books I have ever read. Even if you cannot relate to her struggle with drugs you can certainly relate to her growing relationship with God. At the end of every chapter she gives you these wonderful prayers and about half way through I started personalizing them to me instead of us and we.

I gave this book to a sister in my church who is experiencing some of the exact same challenges Stancie faced. Thank you Stancie and God Bless. You go girl!!! Keep writing

Summary: Wonderful Story of Victory
Review: This is an easy reading but powerful story of Stanice Anderson's victory over the degradation of addiction. Her triumph is clearly through her faith in GOD, who brings her through it all. She adds little writings and scriptures at the end of every chapter that are thought provoking. Great book about the sort of person that everyone knows and makes you say, "There, but for the grace of GOD, go I."
