Review: My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Anderson at one of her book signings. As she revealed to me what her book was about, I knew that I had to buy it, and read it as soon as possible. I am definitely glad that I did. "I Say a Prayer For Me" is not just about a woman who had a heroin addiction and was able to overcome it. It goes much deeper than that. It is about Ms. Anderson's realization that our lives are not our own to do with as we please. Rather, she learned to know and to trust God, and how to allow him to direct her steps throughout her life jouney. She was able to do this despite outside distractions, her own feelings of unworthiness, and while fighting off her own shortcomings and weaknesses. She helps us to understand that in all of our lives, we will face many different types of challenges. We may have our own types of addictions to deal with(ANYTHING that detracts from and interferes with our spiritual growth or well being). She shows us by her example how we too can unburden ourselves on God and seek his wisdom and guidance. She also tells us that we should not hesitate to enlist the help of others when we need it, and not to miss the opportunity to help others if we see that they need help. "I Say a Prayer For Me" is a very good book that contains very powerful messages. I am glad that I was deemed worthy to have the opportunity to meet Ms. Anderson, and to have the chance to buy a copy of this book to share with others.

Summary: A Tremendous Blessing!!!
Review: Stanice Anderson has been a blessing to me from years ago, when I used to receive her emails, to today when I met her at my book club meeting/book signing [anothergoodidea.com book club]. She is genuine and down-to-earth, she loves God and will tell ALL He's done for her -- which is truly an encouragement and blessing to others. It may seem when you start that this book that it deals with her primarily with her heroin addiction, but as you continue you find yourself on these pages -- the relationships, family issues, life issues. And she shares how God has orchestrated and ordered her steps. She gives all praise to Him and also to the people He's put in her life as mentors and colleagues. She also lets you know that she hasn't "arrived," she's still walking in the steps daily as they're revealed -- which isn't easy. I know first-hand that God can take what the "enemy" or life means as evil or ill toward you and turn it into His glory and a blessing for you -- this book is an brilliant example of that truth and how a life can be turned around. For the long-time Christian, the new believer, or the person just looking for inspirational reading, there is something here that can touch the heart of everyone.

This biography/testimony tells the story of a young woman who pressed her way from the gutter to the glory of GOD. Stanice Anderson is someone that any reader can relate to. If you did it, so did she, if you felt it, so did she, if you thought it--so did she. This chosen vessel of GOD shows the world that no matter where you are in life with the love of GOD, we are all just 360 degrees to victory.

Review: Stanice Anderson IS annointed and appointed for this Time! She IS Woman of God!! The Time has come, in fact, long overdue, ....for those like Stanice Anderson; who are "soooo fo' real; In this book; she is letting readers know REAL DEAL! That if it haven't been for God on their side, drugs would have swallowed her up'
The Time is past..for the ''stroll in paisley park, picture-perfect, pride-ridden puffed up' in the Body of Christ; who tend to boast in their own self-righteousness..... no, Stanice GIVES ALL THE GLORY TO GOD! "LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD SAY SO!! I loved her poem in the beginning of her book, I left a voicemail and read the poem for someone who is struggling with heroin/crack addiction. If anyone reading this review knows of anyone struggling with drug addiction who feels so alone, who feels so defeated, so isolated, who doubts that God can deliver them... Get them this book....if that 'someone' is you....get this book!! The Word of God , Prayer and this book- I Say a Prayer for me' will be the catalyst for so much internal faith, healing, restoration.

Review: Stanice Anderson's words of testimony proves that God is waiting for us to call out to Him. Her powerful story of her life experiences combined with her willingness to share how God provided for her shows us how we can come to know Him. If you are looking for a book that shows how God can lift your burden of sin and addiction from you and restore your soul to the one who cares for you-this is it! Stanice knew that God was the only one that could help her. She tells how she relied on Him for her every need and waited for Him to lead her back to His Kingdom. If you need assurance and prayer, you will find the love & assurance that you need in this book. It is easy to understand and the life experiences are real..Thank you Stanice, for following God's direction in writing this book. God knows that it's possible to overcome addiction even when NO ONE else thinks you can be saved! God knows we all can be saved through Him!

Review: Stanice's courage in sharing her story in "I Say A Prayer For Me" was awe-inspiring! So many of us recovering from addiction hide our light under a bushel basket, but Stanice has shined like a beacon to show that we do recover, and we do go on to be everything that our Higher Power has purposed us by design to be. I was blessed beyond measure. You go, girl!!!

No matter where you are in life or if you have already reached the other side, this book will give you hope, understanding, move you to be more compassionate, loving and forgiving not only of others, but of yourself. Equally important, I Say A Prayer for Me will remind you of the power of prayer-- that prayer changes things and that Jesus is just a prayer away. God loves you so very much and Anderson reminds you of it through every word in this book and her personal heartfelt prayers. I highly recommend it.
