Review: Who's Who in the Bible is a great reference resource with lots of mostly black and white photos. The commentary is interesting and detailed and tells what the character's names meant. The Old Testament section was written by Joan Comay and the New Testament section by Ronald Brownrigg, both in 1971. The two were combined in this reprint in 1980. Both quote the Revised Standard Version (1952). If you enjoy this book you may also like THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO THE BOOK OF PROVERBS by Cody Jones. Numerous biblical characters are pointed out who illustrate King Solomon's witty observations on human nature.
