Summary: Hope for the Future...
Review: I recently uncovered this book again to give as a graduation gift. Having read other reader's reviews I see that the message is very different for everyone. For me it's about making your way in this difficult world, to strive for what you believe in & not to follow the crowd. I hope my Sister-in-Law gets as much out of this simple tale as I did. At 18, she has a lot of tough choices ahead of her & this book can provide anyone with the inspiration (inside yourself) to follow your dream...

The book was written in 1972, but don't let this deter you, the message is still very current.

Summary: A perfect book to lighten the load of those in despair.
Review: When my father died 10 years ago, a priest gave my mother this book. She, in turn, gave it to all 5 of her children. Since then, she and I have bought it numerous times to give to people we love who lose a loved one. I keep an extra copy on hand now, in case someone I know has a heavy heart. It's a wonderful characterization of transformation. Death doesn't have to be scary or dreaded...it is change. It provides an excellent distraction from the utter sadness that comes with personal loss. Highly recommended - please share it with all who can use it!

Summary: This book will touch you to the core of your soul.
Review: I first read this book when I was a little girl, and it left such an impression on me that has lasted for 20 years. Imagine my sheer joy when I was recently able to locate it again after not remembering the title (being a 7 yr. old, I remembered pictures, not titles). I plan to pass this on to my children, and anyone else I can give it to. Anyone who reads this touching story of selfless love cannot help get a little misty eyed at the end.

Summary: Good for what ails us!
Review: Hope for the Flowers was an enchanting reader digestible by the college philosopher and the grade school student as well. The commical sketches included in the book carry full personalities start to a finish of complacence in the disorganized lives of the main characters, two caterpillars. On their journey to discover the meaning of life, they find their sole purpose to life and find in each other, a soul mate.

Summary: A lesson in Life.
Review: "Hope for the Flowers" is a wonderful story about reaching happiness and success in life via personal transformation, as opposed to "stepping on other people's heads" to reach the top of the ladder...in career, relationships, spiritual growth.

Summary: wonderful book!!
Review: a wonderful book i was introduced to only 3 short years ago and have already read, it seems like, 3 million times. one of my favorite stories, i am always giving someone a copy as gift and telling others about what a great and inspirational book this is. at the time that i read it, it really pulled out to me as i had just lost that special someone and it helped me realize that there's more out there and such a diverse offering as i had never thought of and now realize is so amazing. definitely book for those in need of a little push towards life or towards looking to their dreams. --"ad astra per asterum"

Summary: a book about growth
Review: A beautiful book about unconditional love and the willingness to let go of the familiar things that feel safe and comfortable, however unfulfilling in our lives. It's about taking risks and having the faith and trust that there is more meaning to life and the curiosity to take the chance to change. I have given this book to many friends, daughters and granddaughters and each time I order one I reread it. I can never keep a copy because every time I order one for myself, there is always someone to give it to.

Summary: An inspiring story for people of all ages.
Review: This book is one of the reasons why I made it through high school. It helped me focus on what was really important, love and friendship. It gave me hope that everyone could do the same.
