Summary: Best Read
Review: There are days when we just want to have more and strive for more... desperately looking for ourselves. Then, we'll stop... either to quit or to take a break. This is a story about how sometimes we can just allow ourselves to grow and still be the best we can be.

Summary: A true gift to the spirit
Review: I was given my first copy of this book when I was thirteen, by two very special mentors who encouraged me, at that most transformational of ages, to follow my true fate and become a butterfly. Eleven years later, I'm buying a new one as a gift for my lover. Give this to everyone you love, including yourself.

Summary: Simple truth
Review: This book is more than a book, it is a vision of life, that of LOVE. This book is a book for those that are searching, for those that feel that there is something "more to life", for those that love life and believe that the "better world" begins NOW. It puts into words my dream-vision-hope for the world. It has really changed my life. I share it with everyone that is ready to read or listen to this inspiring story. Let's all be butterflies and inspire flowers. Muchas gracias, Trina.

Summary: an insightful read
Review: I must admit to having low expectations for this book when my friend forced me to borrow it. Much to my surprise, I was captivated by it! What an insightful little ditty - an easy read with many layers and levels in which to lose yourself in thought.

Summary: Passing it on
Review: I read Hope for the Flowers to my daughter when she was three years old. It became an annual tradition to read this book every year on her birthday. By the time she was nine years old, she was crying along with me while we read it together. We lost track of the book when when we moved. My daughter is now married and has a three old daughter. She called me up to ask if I can get her a copy of the book to read to her child. Thankfully we found a copy and now the three of sit down and read and cry together. Thank you Mrs. Paulus for such a beautiful book.

Summary: Balance and priorities
Review: I have enjoyed this book ever since I discovered it more than a dozen years ago, and hardly a year goes by when I do not read it again. On one level, it is a love story--about two caterpillars, Stripe and Yellow--and for a long time I viewed my life through its lens as a quest for my Yellow. On a deeper level, however, the book is (as its cover says) "a tale--partly about life partly about revolution and lots about hope." Lately I have grown more attuned to that deeper message about balance and priorities, a message that resonates with or without Yellow--a message that, if I would just listen to it, may help me find my Yellow, but will surely bless and keep me as I wait.

Summary: just in time
Review: Last night my 7 year old brought this book to our bed and wanted it as his bedtime story. A friend gave it to us years ago and it lay there unread. I lay in bed with him and my wife and read it aloud and at times couldn't even speak without my voice cracking....we have been living in Switzerland for 5 years now and are trying to muster up the courage to break away from an unfullfilling job and lifestyle and begin a homestead in Brazil. This book addressed everything that has been nagging at us and gave us tremendous courage and inspiration. Looking at the reviews it is amazing how inspirational it is for so many and for different reasons, those having lost a loved one, those going through a divorce and others. My wife and I looked at each other and were amazed!!! It is us she exclaimed! For we are Stripe and Yellow having met deciding to go down and now we are turned around and heading down. I absolutely loved this book and want to give it to everyone I know.

Summary: This is my all-time favorite children's book
Review: I was born in 1978--five years after the publication of this book, but my mother in typical post-Hippie fashion made sure this was one of the first books I read (after of course, The Teachings of the Inner Christ version of Cinderella). I read this book at 5 and it has been my favorite book ever since. The illustrations are beautiful and the message is simple, yet we all need to be reminded of it--constantly. I have shared it with friends who are well into their 30-s and it means something for them at their age as it did for me so many years ago. It is just such a wonderful work.

Summary: Amazing!
Review: Just looking at the book, it seems like a children's story, but when you actually read it, it can be helpful and meaningful to anyone! This is a great gift for a graduation or milestone birthday. So philosophical! Definitely made me rethink my life and institute some changes.
