Rating: Summary: Sci-fi with a religious message Review: Left Behind presents as a science fiction novel in which certain people disappear from all over the world on a given day at a given time. It is easy to read and fairly well written. It also carries with it a message. If you are a born-again Christian, you will probably love it; if, however, you are tired of attempts to convert you to a different form of religion or to the "true" form of Christianity, you will probably find it hard to take.
Rating: Summary: Left Behind Review: I got this book for Christmas and was won over at once. The best part of this book is how it follows the Bible about 99%. I want to make sure I don't get left behind. Something to think about!
Rating: Summary: All Consumming Review: I am an avid reader, and found this book (series) to be the most fantastic, informative, engrossing & thought provoking literature I have ever read. This book is a must. You will not be able to put it down & will immediately purchase the rest of the series to have on hand in case you finish one late at night after the book stores are closed. I have given a lot of thought to the context of these books. And my own future. I have made some life style changes & plan to make more. Reading these books will forever change your life in the most positive way.
Rating: Summary: LEFT BEHIND & THE FIST OF GOD ARE GREAT! Review: I ordered two books from Amazon and they were both phenomenal! If the rest of the LEFT BEHIND books are as good as the first I'm in for a treat. As for THE FIST OF GOD by A.T. Nicholas. It's fast paced and there's a cliff-hanger in every chapter. (I'm not kidding!) Both books are worth the time.
Rating: Summary: Left Behind Review: I couldn't put it down and had to read the entire series. I made me stop and look at my own beliefs and make new decisions in my life. I think others should read these and enjoy them for being books and for looking inside of them selves and see where beliefs are. You did a beautiful job on putting these together I appauld you and hope for more. I have given the books to everyone that I know and have suggested to everyone that I meet to read these books. Thank you again!
Rating: Summary: Realistic Read Review: I've read all but the newest, in this highly acclaimed (and for good reason) series. They give a realistic view of what is to come in the not too distant future. I like the fact that they are easy to read and understand. It makes them that more appealing to a wider audience. The characters are believable and you feel like they are your friends. I've passed my books on to four others. They can hardly wait for me to finish reading, so they can get their hands on my books. The "Left Behind" books are all riveting, intrigueing, intense and most importantly, Biblically based. Not only a great witnessing tool, but a good picture of what is to come. They prompt me to be more aware of the things that are happening in our world and how close we really are to the great tribulation. A MUST read!
Rating: Summary: One in a million Review: I am most like Chole, in the way of my thinking. I have always seen facts and figuares and it seemed unlikely that I would like this book. I have not been born again, but I have been blessed. This book is a great find. It is my wish, that when people read this book they understand the book they way I did. Encore!
Rating: Summary: Fantastic book, made me reexamine were I was going. Review: This was an amazing book. I think it reached me in a way that nothing ever has before. I realy could relate what some of the characters felt. After I finished the first I ordered the rest.
Rating: Summary: Interesting, but Review: "Left Behind," (the series,) was an easy read, with an also too easy to follow plot. I preferred Jerry Furland's view of a more realistic turn of future events in his novel, "Transfer: The end of the beginning." It has a more believable scenario, is less opinionated, and is more intelligently written than "Left Behind." "Transfer" left me wanting more, and thankfully there is-it is the first novel of a trilogy. I recommend it highly!
Rating: Summary: Review # 1,017 Review: "Transfer-the end of the beginning" by Jerry Furland is a much better read, makes a lot more sense, and the best part, it is probably exactly where we are headed in the year 2009. You decide.
