Summary: Great Plot, Great Style, Great Message
Review: I started this book like many others... skeptical. By the time I was done, I had just finished one of the best books I've ever read. This book is not only a clear vision of something that is definitely going to happen, but also a wake up call for the unsaved. "Left Behind" is the story of a group of people surviving the post-rapture tribulation, as according to the Bible. Rayford Steele, an airline pilot, has lost his family from the rapture of saints. Himself, along with a small band of newly-born Christians, vow to stay true to God during the seven year Tribulation. As the plot thickens, the prophecized "antichrist" rises to power. This book is edgy, and has a fastly paced plot. But the best part of the book is it's message. The book states plain and simple the message of salvation through Jesus Christ, without being overly preachy. Some have accused this book of using scare tactics to convert non-Christians. This isn't true, however, it does display a certian sense of urgency. The fact is, we shouldn't put aside or delay the most important desicion of our life. This book excites the spirit of the Christian, and puts question in the heart of the non-believer. Left Behind demands to be read.

Summary: Amazing Book
Review: The Left Behind book and series is the best fact and fiction I've read. Not only have the authors managed to weave a great story with rich characters, but they also teach and tell the story of the end times as described in the book of Revelation in a way that is gripping. They allow us to see how the book of Revelation unfolds, and decode the symbolism for us so that we can relate. The fact that the book(s) are set in this day and age allows us to sit up and take stock of where we stand with the Creator. Riveting. Compelling. Inspiring. Excellent. Don't be left behind.

Summary: Great Series
Review: I had a hard time finishing this first book of the series. It was good, but the writing didn't flow very well. I read the second book out of curiosity and COULD NOT put it down! I have just finished the sixth book and I can't wait for the seventh! The books just kept getting better. The series really makes you stop and think.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: This book series is amazing! I started a week and a half ago and I'm ten pages away from finishing the third book! I can't hardly put it down. If you like a good book that keeps you on the edge of your seat and a look at what is supposed to happen in the end times, then this is a must read. They get better as I read each book!

Summary: Left Behind(Left Behnd #1)
Review: Not often does a novel catch my total attention within the first two pages, but "Left Behind" did just that. I began the book moments after boarding an American Airlines 737 from Virginia to Washington State. The storyline kept and held my total attention for the entire day's travels,(which included not only two flights but a three-hour layover in Houston). I finished the book within a day of arriving in Seattle, Washington. Being new to the area, before my computer was hooked up to Amazon.com, I frantically searched for a book store carrying the second book in the "Left Behind" series, "Tribulation Force". I found and bought "Tribulation Force" & "Nicolae". I lost "Nicolae" in our move and determined not to interrupt my totally ensconced journey with Rayford, Chloe, Buck and Bruce, I bought "Nicolae" AGAIN. I was unable to spend one more day in a futile search for the novel. I joined the County library and the "Left Behind" series was the first search I made on the library's online computer. I was delighted to find that there are many copies of each book at most of the librarys' branches. My delight was quickly grounded when I learned ALL the books in the series were either checked out or 'on hold'. GOOD for the series, TRAGIC for me. Oh well, it's back to Amazon.com for the next two in the series. I am so impressed with Mr. LaHaye's & Jenkins' books! I am hoping they will continue to write in this series. I have recommended these books to several friends and I recommend it most emphatically to you!

Summary: A Heavy Reminder
Review: I first learned of The Rapture in school while viewing a movieof the same name. I picked up Assassins a few weeks ago because I hadseen it on a best selller list. When I started reading I realized I was coming into the story in the middle. I immediately went out in search of Left Behind. (The library cannnot keep it on the shelf - there is a long waiting list and numerous copies of all the series have not been returned.) I could not put Left Behind down! I felt a presenece with me as I read and now I am encouraging everyone I know to read it as well. I am getting the rest of the series today! My life has been profoundly affected by this book and I am anxious to learn more.

Summary: FAST MOVING FOR ALL AGES
Review: A winner from begining to end. I'm "not" a christian with fundamentalist ideas but this book was compelling. I think most readers could identify with the characters and storyline. I find myself saying "yeah thats me"...when the characters self doubt arises. Some of us who think analitically base are assumptions on science. Since my background is such...I can understand some of the characters hesitation when bible prophesy is used to solve some difficlt problems. Anway's I thoroughly enjoyed the book, it won't change my beliefs but did open an eye.

Summary: A Great Book in a Great Series!
Review: This book was a great depiction of the story of Revelation, the last book of the Bible. The characters in this book are well formed and relatable. I found myself reliving the journey of my own walk and the moments on the "brink" before I became a Christian. This book is a great read if you are curious about Christianity. The author's write this story from the perspective of someone who has been around Christianity, but not an actual Christian. It will encourage those who have made the decision for Christ, and enlighten those who are still deciding. I would definately recommend this book to any and all! (I'm now reading # 2 and will soon complete the series! ) This book was so good, I read it in 1 day! Yeah, 1 day! Give it a try!

Summary: Left Behind
Review: I have always been a fan of non-fiction and biographical works so it surprised me at first that I enjoyed this book so much. A very interesting story, I could not put it down once I started reading. I look forward to reading the others in this series. This book, although fiction, has made me take another look at my faith. It has renewed my desire to study to become a minister, a desire that has been ignored for years. Thanks Dr. LaHaye, this has been a life changing expirience.

Summary: A Perfect Translation Of Revelation
Review: When I started reading my Bible for the first time, I started in Revelation, and let me tell you it is not one of the easier books of the Bible to read. But Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye do a wonderful job of capturing the stories and the lives of the people with accuracy. This book reads as well as a Grisham or Clancy. MORE MORE MORE please :)
