Rating: Summary: excellent work of fiction Review: as a long time clancy reader and a growing christian, i read this book quickly and i immediately looked for the next(which i also finished quickly) the story is fascinating and compelling, but best of all is the oppor tunity for witnessing.i let a friend read it, and she expressed a interest in christ. i look forward to the movie version, i just hope the screenplay doesn't water down the message.
Rating: Summary: Left Behind Left Me Scared!! Review: This book and it's two (so far) sequels are some of the greatest books I've ever read. As a God-fearing Christian even I had to confirm my salvation after reading these. I wanted to make sure I wouldn't go through the torment that the people in the books did. It's fascinating to read the adventures the new believers go through, from dealing with non-Christian friends to facing the anti-christ himself! If you're looking for exciting books that accurately display the horrors of the Tribulation, look no further. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this book (and it's sequels) an 11!
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Couldn't stop reading. Review: I have read all three books and cannot wait for the next four. These books are a MUST read for christians and non-christians. I have shared my copies with friends and neighbors and they tell me they can't wait for the next one. In fact, my neighbor told me the third book was out. I immediately went to my local christian bookstore and bought it. Hurry with the next four. I want to read them before the tribulation begins. (Ha) I am praying my husband will read these before he becomes another Rayford Steele. (No joke!)
Rating: Summary: Engrossing Review: This book is absolutely the most captivating book that I have read in a very long while. This book and it's subsequent books are so engrossing that I read all 3 books in 3 days. You will not be able to put it down. Talk about a wake up call.
Rating: Summary: Great Book...What more could be said. When's the movie? Review: This book was great. I think that it will open many minds up to the possibility of the rapture occuring soon. You Must Read This Book. The timing of its writing is perfect. I and my wife have been blessed not only by the book adding to our knowledge and understanding of end-times, but it is also a very entertaining, and thought-provoking book. I highly recommend it. My rating is 9 because I know of only one best book...the Bible. Left behind complements the Bible well.
Rating: Summary: One word....Phenomenal Review: This book gripped me from page one and kept me until the end. I immediately went out and bought Tribulation Force and Nicolae and flew through those. This is a must read for Christian and non-Christian alike.
Rating: Summary: I couldn't get enough of this book Review: When I finished this book I immediately start reading The Tribulation Force. It strengthened my faith in Christianity. A must read book for everyone except the the Devil and the AntiChrist. It will bum their trips out. Tim and Jerry keep up the excellent work, but can you get the sequals out faster? Just kidding.
Rating: Summary: A captivating view of the lives of those "Left Behind". Review: This book will leave you hanging in the end, so be sure to get the sequel, "Tribulation Force". "Left Behind" is easy reading, and has interresting twists that make it a hard one to put down. Read about the lives of different people that come together to find out the truth behind the mystery of the disappearances and prepare to survive what will be known as the darkest days the world has ever experienced.
Rating: Summary: Read this book! Review: A thought provoking, can't put it down book that is must reading for Christians and non-Christians alike. Beware, it will call you to finish it and then to read the sequels. It might even change your outlook on life!
Rating: Summary: A well-written call to faith and accountability. Review: Capt. Rayford Steele's fantasy of an affair with a beautiful, but dim flight attendant is ended with the screams that followed the disappearance of 1/3 of his passengers on his night flight. This hardened, skeptic is forced to reconsider the warnings of his wife about something called a "rapture" and begins to wonder if she is also gone. Upon landing, he finds that chaos reigns and that his believing wife and son are gone. All that is left of his family is his college-student daughter who shares her fathers unbelief. His quest to reunite with his daughter, his pilgrimage to faith & finding a new family among the remnants of his wife's church who are embarassed to have been left behind combine to grip your attention, holding you to the last page and leaving you ready for the sequel. This story fleshes out this part of Revelation very well.
