Summary: Captivating look into the hereafter. READ IT!!!
Review: Mr. LaHaye and Mr. Jenkins have done a wonderful job of presenting a Biblically based story that gives some insight into what will one day come. 1st Corinthians 2:14 says that those who do not know Christ will look upon spiritual things as foolishness because they are spiritually discerned. This book does a lot to help overcome this. Plain and understandable, this is what the Bible says is going to happen. I can't imagine a movie doing justice to these books but I am certainly looking forward to seeing it, as well as reading the next book.

Summary: Revelation brought to Life!
Review: There have been many times when I have sat through the study of Revelations, but I still didn't picture it in present tense. I usually thought about this happening in the future. Yet, there are so many indications that Christ's return may not be as far away as we think. Thank you to the authors who helped bring the urgency of these end times to life. I have been changed.

Summary: Don't get "left behind" by not reading this book
Review: As new Christians, my husband and I read this book as part of a Oprah-type reading group. By page 3, I was hooked. My husband read it with Bible in hand to check referrences. The characters are engaging, the circumstances realistic, and the conclusion left us wanting the next book (which was checked out at the library and had to be ordered from a Christian bookstore some 15 miles away). Both Christian and non-Christian find it intriguing. It's a great read!

Summary: An Eye Opening Book
Review: This is one book that everyone needs to read. I have only read the first book and I am ready to start on the second and third and so on. This book really has made me look at my life and see if it is where it needs to be. It really is a scary book for those who are not christians. It is also a very emotional book and it will touch your heart. I know that my life was changed by the book and I am only 16 years old.

Summary: A wake-up call for the whole world!
Review: For Christians, who have the "blessed hope" of the Rapture, this book is entertaining and thought-provoking reading. It is one of our joys to imagine what our face-to-face meeting with our Lord in the air will be like. However, we mustn't forget the horrors that will be suffered by those 'left behind.' This book is a modern look at how some of the Bible's prophecies MIGHT come to fruition. And it should spur us on to greater evangelism so that no one will be left behind!

Summary: RIVETING.....SHOULD BE REQUIRED READING!!!!!
Review: I could not put the books down, I was so "caught up" with them. Makes you realize you don't want to be "left behind". I have a renewed relationship with God. I can hardly wait for the next one, Soul Harvest.

At our library we have waiting lists for the books, the staff can't believe this since the books are not "bestsellers." I have recommended the books to dozens of people.

Summary: One of the best books I ever read!
Review:

"Left Behind" is certainly one of the best books I've ever read. Well-written and captivating, LaHaye and Jenkins seem to work well as a team in the writing of this book. Characters are well-developed and therefore believable. Keeping my Bible nearby, prophesy is accurately described.

I have read "Left Behind," "The Tribulation Force," "Nicolae," and anxiously await the next four books of this series! They are exciting, riveting, and revealing. I cannot recommend these books enough!

Summary: Beyond Explaination
Review:

After reading "Left Behind" by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, I have fallen on my knees in reverence. Never before have I experienced this overwhelming thirst for more of God.

I'm not going to recommend this book, or the sequels, to you. I demand that you read them. All of them. I promise it worth your while. Christian or not....whether you're reading them for pleasure, or not....read them.

I promise that if you read them, you'll feel the way I do now....totally humbled.

Summary: A Must Read and A Must Share
Review: After reading this book I have been moved to earnestly pray for not only my unsaved loved ones but all those whose have no personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This book helped me to re-examine my walk as a Christian. I read this book in three days and read "Tribulation Force" in 2 days. I have just found out about Nicolae (where have I been?) and will probably read it from start to finish. Can't wait for the movie!

Summary: Silly, shallow and plain bad.
Review: This books reads like a a kindergarten kid telling you: "see? I told you mom would come". Its supposedly Bible-based scenarios are such a stretch that they make the parting of the Red Sea look like something I might see during my commute every day. And I see far more wonderous things , believe me. It is a moral fable of very low quality. Its 'simplistic' (not simple) views are a drag . It's characters reactions and behaviour are so unrealistic they become symbols: greed, lust...just like in a medieval tableau. Last time someone though that the Messiah would come with BIG announcements, there was some disappointment.
