Rating: Summary: The whole set of books will change your life... Review: I have read 4 of these books so far...Each of them I have read in less than two days...they are absolutely incredible...it's like they put Revelation on one side and the notepad on the other...all I can say is WOW
Rating: Summary: Excellent Story Review: This is a book that helps readers understand the importance of a relationship with Jesus before the rapture and the complicated book of revelation. If you think believing is difficult now, you would find it much more challenging during the story line's time period. For those who believe, it lets one know what non-believers will have to experience or how they will die under Satan's grasp.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic reading Review: I haven't the time to read many books in a year. This book was read by my husband first and he gave it to me saying "This makes me want to go to your church" I picked the book back up and didn't put it down until I was finished reading it. The next morning found me in a bookstore looking for the next two in the series. My husband read these first, as well. I ordered the fourth book before it was even published. I have bought "Left Behind" for many people and given it out for presents. This book has had a very positive effect on my life. It gave me a lot to think about --a lot of bible reading-- and a lot of soul searching. That is very good for a book. The characters in the book make for easy reading and you wonder how you might handle the situations presented. Personally, I'll be in the Rapture and so will my family. We just needed a wake up check. These men have created a great series.
Rating: Summary: One of the best books I have ever read!!!!! Review: The story follows the true prophecy so close it should scare you. It only took me 4 hours to read the book.....I enjoyed it so much I had to read it again. If there is one book you need to read this year......this would be the one
Rating: Summary: Excellent! The author makes you feel like your there! Review: This is a must read. It is a good book for anyone. You develop a bond with the characters. You really get to know them. I strongly suggest this book for all ages.
Rating: Summary: An update on the series Review: Thanks in large part to Amazon.com and also to word-of-mouth enthusiasm, Left Behind will hit 1,000,000 in sales by the end of November, 300,000 of that from July to October alone. The rest of the titles in the series are all over half a million, film rights optioned, the series featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and soon People Magazine.
Rating: Summary: Eye-opening!! Review: This book has REALLY changed my life! Although this book is categorized as a fictional book, it really tells of the future... of what is yet to come. I have been shaken awake by this book. I am not normally a big reader but I can't put this book down! A must read!!
Rating: Summary: It grabs you from the first word and does not let you go. Review: My wife and I began reading this book together and have been unable to put it down. We have only stopped reading when sleeping, eating or work demanded otherwise. It is one of the most intriguing, suspenseful books I have read in years.
Rating: Summary: Why so popular? Review: I just finished reading Left Behind and while I think the whole premise could have made a very interesting story I think this was just plain boring. I couldn't help but feel that the authors were trying to justify why certain religious groups feel the need to knock on strangers' doors and try to preach to them. I also felt that there might have been a touch of anti-semitism in this book and even though I'm a Catholic, I couldn't help feeling a little annoyed at this sentiment. In conclusion, this could have been an excellent book, but maybe it needs to cut down on the preaching and delve a little more into character development.
Rating: Summary: Fascinating extrapolation of End Time events! Review: As a new Christian, I was given this book to read, and I must admit it was difficult for me to get started and get into it. However, having just finished it, I highly recommend it to everyone who might consider themselves a Christian. The way that the authors take the events of Revelation and the end times and weave them into a completely believable and very frightening picture of just what it might be like is awesome. One of the things I have struggled with when reading the Bible is the fact that it all is based on the lifestyle of the time it was written, so I have found this work a spectacular read, and very provocative. Read this book.
