Summary: Once you get over the hump, it's a great book
Review: I was enthralled by "Left Behind"'s premise and found it to be an overall excellent book--for people that don't mind a middle section that seems to drag on into oblivion. It isn't entirely biblically correct, but it is still very Christian and won't offend anybody. Technically wonderful, but too boring. I hope that the authors clean this up in the continuations because if they do they'll have potential for an awesome series of books.

Summary: Theologically Heavy-Handed Thriller
Review: I discovered "Left Behind" in a book store and later purchased it, intrigued by the concept. I though it might be in the line of Stephen King's "The Stand" or the Gregory Widen film "The Prophecy"; using christianity as a mythology to add a structure to the story. As an agnostic, I enjoyed the good vs. evil plot line as well as how the various characters came together at the end. However, I found some on the plot to be thinly guised, heavy handed advertising for LaHaye and Jenkin's beleifs. If you can get past this, you'll probably enjoy the novel.

Review: I'd recommend this book to everyone. The book is written as a piece of fiction and should be taken that way. It is not entirely biblically correct, but it will seriously make you question your own personal walk with God. It's a great book for believers and non-believers alike and is a quick read. It will make you want to run out and buy the next book in the series!

Summary: BE READY THE FIRST TIME!!!!
Review: All I can say to people who don't understand Revolations, is they have got to read these books. If they don't know Jesus they had better read these books and their Bible!!! I am not much of a reader. In fact I HATE to read! But I have read the first two books in one week and I am getting ready to start the third. Very interesting reading and the scriptures from the Bible are very understandable.

Summary: Great premise, mediocre writing
Review: This book was mailed to me by an anonymous friend who I'm sure felt I needed it and also knew I enjoyed to read constantly. I found the premise to be interesting and it kept my interest through to the end. Conspiracy always makes a good thriller and these gentlemen have done a good job of putting together a "page turner."I did find the writing to be of "mass" level and the characters to be shallow. I am going to buy the next book in the series but somehow I get the feeling that this is a series in the "pulp novel" vein that is designed to keep you on the edge and sell more books.

Summary: Despite Some Obvious Faults, a Very Good Read.
Review: If one can overlook the authors' all-too obvious prejudice against abortion, frequently and tiresomely brought up, and the unrealistic avoidance of lying on the part of characters in situations wherein NOT lying would probably prove fatal in real life, then the remaining treatment of the world situation as it might be -- in line, closely, with Bible prophecy -- following a Pre-Tribulation Rapture... is gripping. Fascinating plot development and interesting characters. A page-turner! (These comments pertain to all five of the books so far published in the series.)

Summary: Open this book and HANG ON, your life is going to change!
Review: If you've "always been a Christian" or if you've "no interest in ever being a Christian", it won't matter. Either way, you're going to change, rapidly, and for a lifetime. These authors bring the greatest illumination possible to what will most assuredly be the most awesome events in the history of mankind. It would be a good bet to say readers of this book will NOT be among those who are "left behind". L'Shana HaBa B'Yerushalayim!

Summary: This book has really changed my life and recommend them.
Review: I have read Left Behind but it has been a long time, during the summer of 98' I think but I still remember it like it was just yesterday. Ihave truly never read a better series of books, or book for that matter. This book and it's other and the rest of the series, has seriously changed my mind about God and my thoughts and actions as well, this book has changed my life so thank you Tim F. LaHaye and Jerry B. Review: I read many of the other reviews before decideing to write one of my own, and can see & understand most of all the reviews (them being) positive & negitive, and find some funny because I see alot of literarey(sp.) confict saying good writing some bad,I think that alone is unimportant! because I'm sure it wasn't written for literacy sake, but for entertainment and Knowledge. I agree to those who say you should seek the Truth in The Bible(Word of the Living God) because that is where it is found!! This Series can be seen as fiction based on Truth, but it should be understood that we as man, the Species, kmow in part and see in part and can only share what God has shown us, though our understanding be imperfect. well thats all
